Default Foxtrot Six: Indonesian action film produced by Mario Kassar

Just watched this Indonesian actioner Foxtrot Six - another professionally made action movie with heart from Indonesia. Since The Raid, they have been producing many exciting intense action movies in the spirit and heart of 1980s/90s action films from Hong Kong. The Raid, The Raid 2, Headshot, The Night Comes for Us and now Foxtrot Six. Beginning of movie is similar to Children of Men which then turns into an action fest mix of Metal Gear Solid. Anyone who likes the action in the Invisible Man, wait till you see the invisible cloak action scenes in this, as well as gore-fu (bloody martial arts) and mecha suit soldiers brandishing gatling guns. The Mario Kassar influence is in this film. Wonderful movie action moments. There's even a Paul Verhoven Robocop nostalgia moment - you'll know when you see it. The film isnt all action - and it develops the story for most of the first two acts - actors all speak in English and are decent enough actors to pull it off. There is no doubt that this is a B movie but a very entertaining one, with many memorable visually original "holy crap" action scenes. The movie is a bit too long and there are two end credit scenes. I would like someone to explain to me the first end credit scene.

Overall, very entertaining. 8 out of 10.

The Raid and The Night Comes for Us are still 10 out of 10 for me.
