Fox FILMS, yes, but TCFHE still exists as a corporate entity under the Disnee umbrella, at least until their responsibilities are concluded re: the MGM and LFL distribution deals. Even on the individual UHDs of SW 1-6 Fox are still credited on the Scandi versions, and AS Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, not '20th Century' or whatever new bollox they're called.

They're taking over in Europe in some countries, not all. In Spain I can tell you 20th Century Fox as it existed here in Spain as a distributor (I think Spain was the only country where Fox had its own company that distributed or whatever, Hispano Foxfilm, it was called, an ancient.) That Disney has taken completely over the company, I think they even removed it, and have fired most if not all of the plaintiff working there.

Weren't Fox and Warners basically operating under the same roof in Spain for home video? Or am I thinking of Italy?

No, you're right on that. Fox distributed Warner. Which further proves my point (I didn't remember right) that Fox was I think one of the few studio companies left in here that actually distributed themselves (and others).. next to Sony. Now is only Sony, I think. Lol. Sony distributes Paramount and Universal here, I think. Fox used to distribute Warner. Now it's Disney. Disney will probably distribute Fox now under the Divisa agreement as if they were Disney. I am not exactly sure, but if I recall right and because they were probably under contract, Disney will have to distribute Warner here too. Talk about monopoly..

Now Disney distributes Warner. Though Disney exactly doesn't ''distribute'' either.. you know that's kind of a difficult subject, because Disney is distributed here by a local distributor, 'Divisa' but the distribution is literally that, just distributing the movies to the physical media market, Disney literally did everything else.

TLDR; yes, Fox distributed Warner, in fact, before the Disney purchase, Fox was one of the two studios left in Spain that actually distributed themselves in home video).

That just begs the question, does Call of the Wild show up on Disney Plus or HBO?

More than likely HBO since it was in pre-production and production at Fox before the Disney deal closed.

Speaking of distribution, Spies In Disguise was added to Disney Movie Club recently and I assume this will be too.

Call of the Wild is the first movie released under the 20th Century Studios name. This seems to me like the kind of 'Fox' movie they'd put on Disney+ months later, part of me thinks it just fits Disney+, but we'll see where it ends up. Unless they have to respect that 'deal' with HBO and aren't allowed at all to release it themselves on their streaming service, too, then it'll probably be HBO only.

Spies in Disguise is the first one I believe to come out with Disney Movie Insiders listed on the back of the box. Still distributed to stores by TCFHE though.

I just wonder if this will be the norm going forward even after movies are back in the theaters.

I doubt it, this is only being done as an extreme measure because the Coronavirus has killed movie theaters for a while. Digital and home video combined don't give as much as movie tickets, I think.

I'm pretty sure when going to theatres comes back, they'll still have to respect the 90-day rule.
