Default Ok, let be honest here. What movie that you hate but bought anyway?

^what movie that you already knew was bad or very bad but you bought it anyway because of the cheap price?

For me it was The Fountain

Agree this is different subject. I bought Good Luck Chuck because Best Buy had a promotion. Sold it on ebay a week later.

I'll probably get I Am Legend. I didn't like the theatrical version, but the alternate ending made much more sense.

Never going to happen.

If I don't think I would enjoy watching a movie there is no way I would buy it.

If I do buy a movie that I don't like,.. I don't keep it.

I saw I Am Legend in the theater and left feeling a bit underwhelmed. I like Will Smith, so I took the dive and got it on Blu-ray and enjoyed it quite a bit more the second time around.

Except for the alternate ending. That was stupid.

Wow I have that on dvd it wasn't the best movie ever made but I didn't think it was horrible either.

I mean it had Bruce in it, I mean that already gives it 40 points.

While I didn't hate spiderman 3 I didn't like it either and yet I bought it, I felt compelled to buy it, and I opened it watched 5 minutes of it... ONE DAY I WILL WATCH IT.

Perhaps the reason I didn't like it was that I saw it saw recently at theaters that it was too fresh in my mind.. I don't know, nor can I describe it.

Nope. I have resisted.

Regardless of BOGOs and other incentives over the past several months, I still won't buy movies like A Clockwork Orange. (I know it has many, many redeeming, and even excellent, qualities for many viewers down through the years.) But I hated it when I saw it in the theaters during its first release many years ago, and I just will not buy it even when they produce it someday in 3D. The Patriot was another I did not like.

I can understand why folks enjoyed these, and other, films like them. However, I did not enjoy either and won't buy them in Blu, regardless.

I felt this way when I bought DVDs, and nothing has changed now that I buy BDs. I won't buy movies that I/my wife/my daughter aren't interested in.

I don't understand why anyone would buy a movie they already know that they don't like. I've had my share of blind buys that I didn't like, but I've never bought a movie that I knew that I didn't like.

Maybe you're asking for way too much for that movie I'm sure you'll find a buyer if you sold it for $5.

I really didn't like 300 that much but I got it in a BOGO, so i didn't feel bad. One day i'll watch it, well maybe the fight scenes. Same thing with The Departed. I thought it was okay. Hated the ending. There were some great one-liners. Didn't pick it up on a BOGO. if one day it's 5 dollars. I'll pick it up.

Haha, The Departed I think is one of the best movies on Blu-ray. Even though it's a long movie I think I've watched it about eight times, and I like it better and better every time. I'm really starting to get into Scorsese's stuff.

Not on BLu Ray, but back years ago when Reindeer Games came out I bought it blindly, man that was a mistake. What a horrendous piece of garbage. Same goes for Bedazzled (Brendan Frasier version). Blind Buy, wanted to gouge my eyes out and become truly blind afterwards. I love all the Blu Rays I have bought, I only buy something I truly know I will like or that I have seen now.
