I am going to get banned from here for what I am about to write, and I am not afraid to say it, but I did not care for The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I can do without some of the cheesy acting, and I am referring to you Eliah Wood, you strudel loving jabronbi, and Liv Tyler I have no idea what your character was even doing in that movie besides making me want to vomit. I rather ride Chicago's Red Line than listen to you horrible monologue on how you can not live without Argonne who is nothing but a total ***** in the films. I thought this man was suppose to be a bad ass like Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Aragorn and Steve Austin that's an odd comparison.

Ha, although this series didn't wow me, it did entertain. Liv Tyler can rescue me anytime, the door is open.

I wouldn't consider any movie I hate a best movie. On the other hand. movies I love, to me, are the best movies around.

Inglorious Basterds (the first scene is absolutely amazing though)
Full Metal Jacket (The first act of the film is also amazing, everything after that was of no interest to me)

after reading a lot of these posts I'm inclined to agree!!

problem is many people exaggerate beyond reason on these posts-- they're disappointed with a movie or don't think it's as great as the hype and suddenly it's the worst movie ever made!

Some films are more for study rather than entertainment, 2001 being one of them.

Anyway, my input:

Animal House. A highly acclaimed comedy that I thought was annoying and unfunny.

Raising Arizona. I have watched this several times over the years and always hate it, though some would put this amongst the best Coen brothers films.

Star Wars. No explanation necessary really!
