Lord of the Rings...the first time i saw it i thought it was ok, but all of the hype it receives really turned it from an ok movie to a movie i really can't stand

Yeah my Dad and sister loved the movie but it was all stuff we should have learned in grade 3. The movie goes on for ever telling you the same thing and not putting any type of spin on it.

I agree with one of those.

Movies that people seem to love that I don't like (but don't completely hate either):

Fight Club

City of God

No Country for Old Men

Donnie Darko

Saving Private Ryan is the worst war movie ever, I almost pissed my pants the first time I saw the drop scene at Normandy Beach and I cried when Irwin Wade died.

I am going to be the first to add.....

The Matrix.

I found it incredibly boring. It was like Laurence fishburne just narrating a really boring movie and had like 20 minutes of action at the end.

The Matrix was the first thing that came to mind for me as well, they weren't unbearable but highly overrated imo.

And I Am Legend, everybody was like "that's suuuuch a good movie" but I found it to be terrible, I didn't think Will Smith was bad in it but the movie itself was a joke. I mean a supposed cure for cancer turns people into a horribly anitmated CGI super-human zombie things... come on.

I wouldn't say that I hate it, but I will never watch There Will Be Blood again.

Star Wars. I stood outside in line for about 4 hours when I was a kid to see it in the theater.

I usually like what the mass majority likes overall but there have been select ones I hate that most love.

Some examples:
- Lord of the Rings trilogy
- 300
- Cars
- There Will Be Blood

Crash easily, is one of easiest choices on here when think of Academy Award winners. It's not an awful film, it's good, but wayyy overrated.
