No point in a BD unless it is marketed for countries where Amazon does not stream. Most in the US will watch it via Amazon Prime for free and the movie is in HD and 4K for streaming (broadband depending for 4K). Also a Telugu version is available in HD from Amazon.

I don't even recall the last time I rented or bought a BD movie. I even removed all my BD players and gave them away as Amazon and Netflix cover my needs.

You're in a different league my friend! Cinema Purists and Home Theater enthusiasts will always crave for watching a movie with the highest achievable PQ & AQ and physical media still trumps streaming in this regard - and that is the reason so many Kaleidescape Owners pay to download physical copies of movies despite the army of streaming services out there. Of course, blu-rays are not meant for the "majority"; rather it is for the minority (or micro-minority shall we say) who truly care about quality.

Hear hear! 1080p blu > 4K stream. Sound quality is leagues better, too. Bollywood blu-rays are dying for sure, but I'll be buying as long as they're sold!

Sssoooooo happy this is coming out. Third time's a charm after Kaabil and Super 30 both skipped blu-ray. :/

Seems a bit over enthusiastic for a comment on this Blu Ray forum, lol. when streaming can fully take advantage of a Dolby Atmos or even a DTS-HD master audio, then lets talk about equating BD's with streaming. Like the comments above, we have invested in our home theaters to fully experience the best quality possible ---> currently not with streaming.

I might pick this up, it looks like it could be a good time, but more than anything, it's great to see another Bollywood film on Blu-ray.

The only reason YRF are still releasing blurays is to get rid of the surplus orange case stock.

This movie was insane - sort of like a more insane version of de Palma's Mission Impossible - tons of twists. Totally entertaining from beginning to end - no filler. Amazing action scenes and Tiger doing his best acting Ive seen while mixing in elements of Stallone/Van Damme. This film would be great double feature with Mission Kashmir.

Hrithik is incredible as usual - a huge cinematic presence!

8.5 out of
