Drive over the border and pick them up if you're near it, otherwise get a friend in Canada to help you out. I'm pretty sure there are several people who do that all the time.

Can any Canadians give insight as to which steelbook/ironpaks stores like Futureshop and HMV have on a regular basis?
I'm planning a trip up to Canada in the coming months and was hoping to score some of them (Toy Story 1/2 in particular)
also, does it seem the Inception briefcase stock will last?

Go to future store website, search for toy story Iron Pack and click check store stock.
Than give them which province and city you want and it will give you what stores have it in stock.

I could only see the Toy Story 2 listing, but I also was just kind of wondering approx how many different titles they keep stocked. In the states it seems they mostly sell out on release day, except a few which only come as steelbooks.

There has been a tonne of releases in SteelBook and IronPacks over the past three months.

Most stores still have plenty of stock. Future Shop has gone to make a 'SteelBook section' where it is all BD SteelBooks and that rack is constantly changing.

You can also find some SteelBooks in the regular BD aisle listed alphabetically.

I was at Blockbuster today and they also have SteelBooks on display as well. If you are up here the next few weeks, you might want to check them out over Boxing Week blowouts (Canada's equivalent to Black Friday, but rather than stampedes, we have snowball fights instead -- same thing).

A few titles which I no longer see available are:
EXPENDABLES G1 SteelBook
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST IronPack
RESIDENT EVIL: DEGENERATION SteelBook
V: Season One SteelBook
CLASH OF THE TITANS SteelBook
PRINCE OF PERSIA IronPack

Everything else has stock this week, but YMMV.

What's the general consensus on these releases, looking online there doesn't seem that too much effort was made into the look of these. Is everyone happy with the design?

I am pretty happy with these ironpacks. The only thing is that they scratch pretty easily.

You can still order it online (20 left right now) and free shipping. Assuming you live in Canada.

I think I saw a couple of empty cases in the $20 or less thread.

The cases / IronPacks only for Toy Story 1 and 2 were not sold alone unlike TS3.

You can only get it from a forum member who has bought the IronPacks Blu-ray/DVD combo and don't need to keep the IronPacks...

Does anyone know the major difference between the normal Futureshop Toy Story 3 Ironpack, compared to the Toy Story 3 (French) ironpack? Is it just French on the outside cardboard slip? I found the link to still purchase the French version, and I'm wondering what the big difference would even be? The movie wouldn't strictly be in French, right? Thanks for the help

The main difference is the cardboard cover. The SteelBook itself will be the same.

If you are asking about the actual disc inside, you should confirm.

Sometimes Quebec releases use an alternate French-language video. That is, certain titles like storefronts, signage, newspaper headlines and articles in the movie are in French rather than English.

The audio tracks are still both available in French and English, but sometimes the video is only available in French.

I don't have one, so I can't say for sure what is included, but if it is important to you, you should double-check before buying it.

I am hoping it's strictly only the outer packaging, leaving the rest in English, but I guess the real only way would be to order it and hope for the best? Thanks for the help

You could PM a Quebecer who owns the the bilingual edition of the TOY STORY IronPack. They should be able to tell you.

I own a SteelBook edition of RATATOUILLE which has all-French video. I bought it from a Montreal Future Shop.

Sorry to be late, but I can confirm you that YES, it's only the cardboard. The IP and movie are the same.
