You can purchase all the English-friendly Kaurismäki Blu-ray's from RecordshopX. Shipping to the US is only 2.95 euros. Click here.

Thanks! I still hope Criterion gets the rest of his films on Blu-ray. 21 euros is too much for me to spend on each Blu-ray.

Default aki kaukismaki blu ray

I have now ordered 7 Blu rays from recordshopx.com a superb retailer in Finland. They ship to UK quickly and have reasonable postal charges. I still have 4 Blu-Rays to order and will do soon. That will complete my Kaurismaki Blu Ray collection, when I include the two Criterion discs out on HD- Le Havre and La Vie Boheme. The transfers are excellent and some of the discs have bonus shorts

is I Hired a contract Killer completely in English? Language is listed as english and there's no English subs.

Also is Ariel englsih friendly? The listing on this site suggests no but Recrodshopx's listing suggests yes.

Yes for I Hired a Contract Killer. It's set in London, if I remember correctly.
I would be surprised if Ariel isn't english friendly, as all the others seem to be. The 4 I have definitely are.

The prices at Record Shop X are well reduced at the moment, so I ordered Ariel and a couple more.

All Finnish Kaurismäki Blu-ray releases are English-friendly (Except Total Balalaika Show). The specs on this site are simply incorrect. All the Blu-rays are currently on sale for 9.95 euros each. List price 17.95 euros.

All Aki Kaurismäki films are currently on sale at Recordshopx.com for €10.95 or $13.50 each. International shipping is only €2.95 or $3.60 for a single disc.

Is that a concert film? That seems English friendly enough to me, even if it's singing in another language. It's great these releases are on sale. Eventually, I'm hoping to see more of his films via Blu-ray this way.

Does the international shipping rate stay at €2.95 per disc if you place a larger order or is there a reduced rate for ordering more discs?

I'd like to know this as well. I checked recordstorex last week and every blu was reduced to €4.95 but only La Vie de Bohème was in stock. Hope it doesn't mean they've gone OOP, still got 6 I'd like to pick up.

I decided to sell 4 of the titles, as they are the only ones I have that are still sealed.
