Yeah I wouldn’t pay a premium for any Sideshow 1/6 figures, like people wanting $375 for Greedo. No way! Hopefully Hot Toys starts making clone troopers soon!

Or they could actually make different characters! But yeah, I like Sideshow’s new Superman.

Is comic con here yet?

I won't even pay retail for a Sideshow figure. I could see myself getting Cody and Rex if Hot Toys made them.

I'm right with you on thinking they should be making new characters. I mean how can they all think they're going to sell a lot of their version if it looks exactly like a bigger version that someone else made four years ago.

Even I'm getting really excited for it. I hope Hot Toys shows Maul and Qui-Gon. Do you think I should buy the ESB Vader or should I just wait for them to make a RotJ version?

I would definitely get Cody again. I sold my SS figure a long time ago for a bunch of money. I would probably get a 501st trooper too.

They're basically cycling back through all the usual Star Wars PFs too. I see Obi-Wan is coming next.

I would never wait because who knows if they'll actually make something. That's just me though. I'm clearly getting tired of the waiting in this hobby!

I like all the clone trooper designs more than the OT troopers. But I don't know if I want to start a trooper collection though.

I saw that. That's pretty predictable. I bet we get a new ANH Vader to go with him followed by a farmboy Luke remake. Which no one would object to since their original Luke is the most dated looking PF of all-time. I still can't believe there's no Lando.

You're right. I'm going to go with the ESB one. If they make a better RotJ version I'll just sell this one.

I'm starting to think if HT doesn't make a Lando they probably won't make a Mace either.

Hmmm...I think I still like all the OT designs more. The clone troopers are cool because a bunch of them actually have personalities though, thanks to the cartoon.

More than likely. I wonder what weird pose they'll put Vader in this time.

That's a good point. This is not meant to be racist, but I've heard that black characters don't sell well in Asia. They did make two Finns from TFA though...

I had to unsubscribe from Geeks & Gamers...I couldn't handle the 20 videos per week!

Yeah thats a big plus with the clones for me. But I also love how they've got different colors and weathering, and different pauldrons and weapons and stuff.

Someone should start a thread about SS's worst poses.

Thats very true. I don't think they like to purchase white people all that much either. Robots are huge over in Asia, I think thats their favorite fantasy thing. Even Star Wars as a whole isn't nearly as popular. And they really don't like Batman.

Ha! I'm forcing myself to slow down on watching too much G+G and EVS. Sometimes they upload 4 videos in a day. Its just too much. I do think these YouTube chanels have become their primary source of income though.

I still like the OT stormtrooper better. Plus the snowtrooper and scout trooper are also cooler. I guess I'm one of those people who will never admit anything is better than the OT.

It would be easier to start a thread about their best poses!

Hmmm...yeah I don't think they like Star Wars much at all. We're lucky the Hot Toys owner is a huge fan. I know they love their robots, I've seen how well those Pacific Rim movies do over there! Well hopefully we get Lando eventually. We need an ESB and skiff guard!

You may be right about the YouTube income, although I thought I heard users make a lot less than they used to.

Ha. I don't blame you, they are all definitely more iconic. The scout is one of my all-time favorite trooper designs, but I never was that crazy about the snowtrooper.

I don't think that thread would have any posts.

Yeah its really awesome for us that the Howard guy loves SW. i was actually contemplating getting Jabba the other day.

Youtube demonizes a lot more than they used to especially if you hold views that are against Hollyweird. But they make a ton off of their live videos via super chats, which youtube can't interfere with. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull in $50-$75K a year just from those. I wish I could have gotten ahead of this and started a youtube channel that *****ed about Disney Wars for a couple of hours a day. I practically do that anyways except I don't record it, and I definitely don't make any money doing it.

The snowtrooper is cool in it's own way. I mean obviously nothing beats the OT Death Star Gunner!

Wait what? You are thinking about Jabba? You really are going full blown 1/6! I really hope you're happy with Luke when you get him.

That's a crazy amount of money for making videos! There's a lot of stuff I wish I had gotten ahead of. Like investing in Amazon when it first hit the stock market.

Why didn't I remember the Death Star Gunner Obviously he is the greatest trooper design of all-time.

Yeah I'm really getting into a full blown SW collecting mood. I doubt I'll get Jabba but I'm definitely not going to sell Luke before I get a collection going, and once I get a collection going it will be super easy for me to stick with it.

Ha. You'd be so rich right now.

Ha, darn right! I really like the scout trooper, but haven't decided if I like Sideshow's enough to get it. I don't really like their speeder bike, it's too short and awkward looking. I'm not getting vehicles/creatures anyhow, as cool as the taun-taun looks.

I really hope you get a collection going! They really look awesome when you have a few of them together!

I know, if only! I keep trying to win the lottery, but I'm not having much luck! I would have a giant basement with a theater room and plenty of space for collectibles.

I'll have to take a closer look at it. I'd love a scout trooper on a speeder. But I'd prefer not to buy a SS figure if possible. Maybe HT will make it later on. I'd really love it if HT made Maul's speeder. But since they still haven't released Rey's they probably won't make it anyways.

I can't wait. I'm really excited for these.

I'd have to get that Gino guy to make me some custom life size SW pieces. Did you see the most recent pics of the life size Fett on the freaks board? They guy replaced his Don Post version with SS's. SS's outfit is more accurate, but it looks really skinny and his arm/shoulder looks super weird and unnatural. I actually think the Don Post looked much better even though its less accurate.

I was just reading MWC Toys review on it. I'm sure HT could do it better. I can pretty much guarantee HT won't do any vehicles.

I tried to look, but the pictures won't load. Most image hosting sites are blocked on my work computer. Flickr is about the only one that works.

I guess we could give Sideshow props for this. She actually looks really good. Which just causes more confusion as to what they were doing with that Supergirl PF.

That sucks. Ughh. Why can't we get that 1:6 TIE Fighter?

Do they block porn there too?

Is that a new Emma Frost? I really liked their last one too.

Ha, who would have room to display that thing? They might as well release the 1/6 Millennium Falcon!

Too? Are you looking at porn at your work? I'm sure they do, but I've never attempted to look it up.

It is Emma Frost. I just don't get how they can do quality work on some things then they can put out absolute garbage other times. It's like they don't have any pride!

I think it would be possible to display, you'd need a large surface but I think it could be done. If they ever make it and if it comes in under $4K I'll get it and show you how its done.

At my old job I went on a vacation to Vegas and the sidewalks were all littered with collectible trading cards of strippers. Well anyways I collected the whole set and one of my bosses wanted to see them so I brought them in . Its not quite the same as porn but some of the cards did have naked chicks on them.

Does Marvel have stricter standards maybe? I think DC should stop approving some of these things and make them go back to the drawing board.

Ha, yeah if I moved all of my furniture out of my basement then I'd have plenty of room! Of course, I probably couldn't even get that thing down my stairs. How would they ship it? On a pellet using a semi truck?

That's pretty funny.

Maybe? I don't know. There have been some awful looking Marvel statues too.

Hey guess what? I nearly hit someone in the roundabout yesterday and this morning. People just blow through the yield sign, it's insane. I hope the person who does end up hitting me has insurance so I can get a new car.

Thats a possibility. But I'd hope they would make it so the wings could come off. That way they could just ship those in a massively long and wide box, but hopefully still kind of skinny. Then ship the cockpit in a normal looking massive box. I don't know why I'm thinking about it anyways its never going to get made.

Everytime I think about SS's poses my mind goes back to that one video they have where that one employee is making stupid poses in front of a mirror.

Ha! That was totally how my dad was. He'd just blow right through that yield sign. All of those things should be destroyed. I'm convinced that half of the population is incapable of learning how to use them.

I guess it's possible, but I don't see it ever happening. They couldn't even release the Falcon cockpit.

Ha ha. I remember when the Legendary scale Batman was revealed and I tried to recreate his pose at the gym. It's so awkward that I couldn't even do it.

I think people have become so entitled that they just don't think rules apply to them anymore and that includes traffic signs.

So I guess XM is done with the Star Wars line. Someone asked them about it and they said it was so difficult getting things approved that they kept having to retool statues and it just wasn't worth the costs. I wonder if that's why HT isn't releasing all the vehicles and what not.

Did you see Supergirl's new costume? The premise of the new stories sound interesting (intergalactic adventures are always fun), but this is just bad. I hope it's only temporary while she's off in space.

They probably realized that if they released it people would be upset that they didn't release the whole Falcon.

Ha ha. I remember when you said you tried to do that. I hope no one saw you.

I think you're on to something!

I don't think those XM pieces were received as well as they were hoping. Maybe if they wouldn't have made Anakin so terrible looking like he had some type of massive growth coming out of the top of his head under the hood then they wouldn't have to retool things so much.

Thats weird looking. Why couldn't they have just made her naked instead? That would have been so much better.
