I would like to see a mega-set of classic Who to celebrate the 60th anniversary.

NPH seems to fit best with "The Giggle", maybe?

UPDATE: Well, clearly I should have watched the trailer first, eh? Shows how wrong I can be. As usual.

Still, exciting stuff!!

Tennant looks weird. I know he's older, but he looks really thin in the face and trying to rock that hairdo again doesn't help.

For some reason, and yes, I know I'm weird, it's really worrying me that there aren't any Fourteenth Doctor original fiction novels (hardcover or paperback) on the schedule, at least not that I'm aware of. Will he be the only (TV/canon) Doctor not represented in their own individual release novel? (Even the War Doctor got his own novel...)

I know the current DWM strip is the Fourteenth, and I think there's a story in an Annual or something. But I want a true, official, all-by-himself BBC fiction novel for the Fourteenth! I must have that Doctor represented on my bookshelves!

Only 6 months (or so) to go til the Specials!

Maybe the Adipose attacked him and sucked all the fat out. (Sorry, I still can't believe that was an actual Who villain. So ridiculous.)

Here's a weird set of circumstances I like to tell...

November 22, 1993 I turned 21. My friends took me out drinking to celebrate. After getting pizza, the first bar we go to we find... the Doctor Who pinball machine! And by this time, it had turned to November 23... Doctor Who's 30th anniversary! That was a wacky night.

I think he actually looks more like himself here than he did in the 50th.

Now that the duplicate thread has finally cemented itself. Perhaps all post Capaldi era posts can occur there?

A bit uneven, but liked the large scale of it and no silly monster to be found.

As always, been watching the Behind the Sofa segments as well. I never noticed it enough to be bothered by it previously, but now I really see it - Janet Fielding is super annoying. They should have had Nicola Bryant instead - I could watch her all day long.
I just started The Romans. Think I last watched it in the late 90s on Space (Canadian Sci-Fi channel).

My preference is to can the Sofa features and focus on just getting the remaining sets out. Quite pleased Pertwee is next.

Once and Future: Past Lives

4/5

This was a quite enjoyable BF release. Much better than the last Eccleston I heard (he performed in monotone). Listened to it while on one of the new Via Rail trains.

The Time War. The Doctor has been injured and brought to a Time Lord field hospital. His body glows with energy, but this is no regeneration into a future form – instead, the Doctor’s past faces begin to appear as he flits haphazardly between incarnations...
Staggering to his TARDIS, the Doctor sets out to solve the mystery of his ‘degeneration’. Who has done this to him? How? And why? From the Earth to the stars, across an array of familiar times and places, he follows clues to retrace his steps, encountering old friends and enemies along the way. Tumbling through his lives, the Doctor must stop his degeneration before he loses himself completely...
Settling as his Fourth incarnation, the Doctor goes in search of the Monk, with a vague memory that he had something to do with his ‘degeneration’.
On Earth, the Monk is meddling, bringing Sarah Jane Smith to the future UNIT HQ to steal a device for an alien race. The Doctor must help Kate Stewart and Osgood foil an invasion before he can confront the Monk about what he knows...

The performance of 2 people in these threads- we all know who they are - have shut down the threads for the best part of this week.

‘Nuff said.

I wish she had a longer run with the 5th Doc before getting stuck with the unstable strangler. Thankfully Big Finish made that possible.
