he'll probably be drafted in the second or third round just becusae of how good Clay is... Al loves to reach, but if he reaches for Casey, i sure wouldnt be upset... I just hope for another solid drafting year.... we got 4 solid starters from last years draft

I just look at his stats compared to his brothers and think why wouldn't he be as good I think Inside is harder to play then outside anyway.

All eyes will be on Jack Del Rio, and David Garrard for this upcoming season. I say they will lose their job "this time" if we don't make it to the playoffs.

Shaun Rogers, who was released by the Browns earlier this week, will be visiting the Redskins today. Rogers could play tackle or end in a 3-4 defense and if he signed it would surely mark the end of Albert Haynesworth's time in Washington. Released players with more than 4 years of service can sign with any team until March 3.

He would be a good fit for the Patriots. He already knows the system having played the 3-4 under Mangini for three years. His presence would allow the Patriots to move Wilfork around like they did last year, but he'd be better than the Brandon Deaderick's and Ron Brace's of the world. Shouldn't cost too much considering he didn't record twenty tackles last season.

I'd rather have more preseason games which means we get football quicker than more regular season games.

Default Sources: Cowboys eye Packers coach

Quote:
IRVING, Texas -- One way to get better in any business is to weaken the competition.

According to sources, Dallas coach Jason Garrett has interviewed Green Bay wide receivers coach Jimmy Robinson for the same position with the Cowboys less than a week after the Packers won Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium.

More on the Cowboys
Calvin Watkins, Tim MacMahon and Todd Archer have the Dallas Cowboys blanketed for ESPNDallas.com. Blog
More: ESPN Dallas

Robinson, who has been in the NFL since 1990, was interviewed to replace Ray Sherman. Sherman coached the Cowboys' wide receivers from 2007-10 and interviewed for the head coaching position that went to Garrett after the season. Sherman was quickly informed he would not be retained in 2011.

Garrett and Robinson were together with the New York Giants in 2000-03, when Garrett was the backup quarterback and Robinson was the wide receivers coach. Through the years Robinson has coached some of the NFL's best receivers, including Indianapolis' Marvin Harrison, the Giants' Amani Toomer and New Orleans' Joe Horn. He has been with the Packers since 2006, helping in the development of Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Jones and Jordy Nelson.

With the Cowboys he would inherit Miles Austin, who has played in the last two Pro Bowls, Dez Bryant, who had his rookie season cut short by a fractured ankle, and Roy Williams (at least for now) as the top three wideouts.

This thread sure is quiet with Wolvie absent.

What is everyone's take on the pending NFL lockout. A lockout is a near guarantee at this point, but I have no doubt they will reach a deal before summer. Both sides have way too much to lose.

HEY HEY HEY

Quote:
Haynesworth formally charged with assault
RESTON, Va. – Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has been formally charged with misdemeanor assault stemming from a road rage encounter.

Fairfax County police say the 29-year-old Haynesworth and his attorney appeared at a police station Saturday morning. Haynesworth signed a summons warrant charging him with assault and left.
He's scheduled to appear in court on March 31.

Police say a 38-year-old man told investigators he was assaulted by the driver of a pickup truck who was tailgating him on Feb. 2. The driver was later identified as Haynesworth.

Simple assault is punishable in Virginia by not more than a year in jail and a fine of $2,500 or less.

Not one of the better days in Redskins franchise history...

Quote:
WASHINGTON -- Washington Redskins kick returner Brandon Banks is one of two men who were injured in a stabbing outside a D.C. nightclub.

Banks suffered only superficial wounds, a source told The Washington Post.

A Redskins spokesman confirmed that Banks was injured in the incident, which occurred shortly after 3 a.m. ET Saturday. He was admitted to a hospital in stable condition.

Banks was released from the hospital Saturday afternoon, a source told The Post.

D.C. police said a man pulled a knife after a verbal argument and stabbed two men. Police did not release the names of the victims but say the other victim was hospitalized in critical condition. The suspect was taken into custody.

Redskins spokesman Tony Wyllie says the team is aware of the incident and is gathering all of the facts.

It happened on the street outside The Park at 14th, an upscale nightclub.

Banks, a rookie out of Kansas State, played in 13 games for the Redskins and amassed 1,155 yards and a touchdown as a kick returner.
