Not sure if this is the right thread to ask, but does anyone know what the story is on the Jin-roh blu-ray from Discotek? They licensed it for DVD last year and had said that a blu-ray release was to follow in December of 2014. I since haven't heard any news on this, and rightstuf.com now has their 12/14 releases up with Jin-roh MIA.

They put up some art for Railgun on Amazon. Looks like they are using the DVD LE slipbox artwork.

It's still coming next year. The December date was an estimate.

Thanks for the info. I was debating whether I should pay $80 for the JP version but now I think I'll save my money and wait!

So this new one coming is a Korean release with English subs, or will there be a dub with it as well?

I got my Bandai Blu-ray copy of TGWLTT new for $21, back when it first released in 2011... That was the very first non-Ghibli anime title I ever purchased, and two full years before I started buying any anime for myself(!)... My two daughters had introduced me to some Studio Ghibli online about 7 years ago, and I had bought the 3 or 4 Disney Ghibli blu-rays that had been released, just for the girls to watch (although I liked them too!)... Then they told me they also liked TGWLTT, so when I saw it was releasing on Blu-ray, I bought a copy of that for the girls too... little did I know it would get so OOP so fast, lol... After the price skyrocketed, my girls weren't allowed to touch MY copy - ever! BWAH-HA-HA!

I would probably guess it has English subs but not dubs.
And yeah happy that I got mine as well. Spent 2+ years looking for a copy and bam out of the blu.

I'm hoping that the Korean BD for Tokikake '06 comes out with English subs as well, especially since I recently had to sell my R1 2-disc Limited Edition DVD set to generate some short-term funds...
