I mean, I know it's been a while, but at this point they're probably busy working on the discs. Dawn of the Dead and Martin have a lot of interest and they won't want to get these wrong, so detail is going to be important, and while they're doing all this stuff there may be nothing to report. We can hardly expect them to provide fortnightly updates telling us that they're "still working on it" because that only inspires people to repeatedly ask for ETAs that they may not yet have. Obviously I want these now, but it seems to me that we know they're coming, and that really should be enough until they release the next announcement. Patience isn't really that hard. It's not like we're owed this, we just want it.

DAWN OF THE DEAD and MARTIN update! New masters almost complete, including the 3 versions of DAWN, will then be on to the encoding and authoring stage. We've also been working on some very exciting additional content and will be making a further announcement with more details on Friday 13th of March.

Sigh. As much as I'm hoping that this will see a US release, my husband has been THISCLOSE to buying a region free player for his own reasons so I'm thinking by the time this actually sees release, he or I will have caved and bought one.

Because Martin is one of my favorite Romero films. And when it comes out I can finally add that Blu-ray to my collection and do a triple-feature of my favorite vampire movies: Martin, Daughters of Darkness, and Let's Scare Jessica to Death.

You've probably read this a million times on here, but a region free player is worth every single cent! As a cinephile it's brought me (and my family/friends that come over for 'Movie Nights') hours of enjoyment. So go for it!

Love your triple feature line up, can't wait for the 4k remaster of Daughters of Darkness!

Excellent choices! Definitely 3 of the very best 70s horror films. Top 10 for me.

The Second Sight update on MARTIN coming this Friday!

I’m assuming the pre-order delay for DAWN does not also apply to MARTIN.

Region free is fully worth it.

Why would it not apply?

Because Second Sight didn’t mention MARTIN at all in their notice about the DAWN pre-order delay. They’re two separate releases. I would feel terrible for poor, neglected MARTIN if it, too, was maybe going to be delayed and they didn’t even think to mention it. Pretty sad, no?

It is sad indeed; the UK pre-order for DotD goes live next week, and not a peep about Martin was said.

Well Martin better be utterly spectacular or I'm expecting a damned good reason for it not being mentioned even. Unless Second Sight are sensibly going to give our wallets time to recover between releases (I hope so at £70 for a Blu Ray)
