Can't believe nobody has made a single post about this, I recently learned this movie is $15.99 at Best Buy, cheapest it's been since it's release.

Stumbled on this one completely out of the blue. Just picked it up since I remember enjoying it.

I do like this film. Just not sure I like it enough to warrant a purchase.

For those interested, you can watch this on Amazon prime.

It's an okay film. I think the major error it makes is not having the angel serve 1-2 other groups first - maybe just in small ways - before stumbling onto the church for underprivileged kids. They could have introduced the Kozlowski character during this timeframe, where they accidentally bump into each other before hand, then merge the stories one hour into the picture.

As it stands, a movie about a church - while well meaning, and well acted - seems too light for a feature film and a lost opportunity.

IMO the movie is perfect, I wouldn't change it. I love it the way it is. An 90's classic to me at least.

I keep forgetting this has been released. Saw it in the theater and watched it a lot on VHS in the '90s but never had it on DVD, so I haven't seen it for a long time now. Need to pick it up. I always liked Paul Hogan.
