amc just bought our local chain and i hope they change the seats .they are worse than airplane seats, no leg room at all and the arm rest doesn't raise. the seats they had before were better

So has anyone been able to determine the manufacture of the AMC seats that have the recline controls on the top of the arm rest and where the middle arm rest can go up and make a love seat?

Seating has been the hardest thing for me as well.

I have a Lazy Boy

The seat and back are extra wide (much more comfortable than being in a more confined space)

The height of the back extends beyond my head (both when sitting and even more importantly when reclining) and I am 5 feet 11 1/2 inches tall.

Mine reclines only & does not swivel nor rock (or anything else for that matter). I would never use those options even if I had them.
But it does almost go completely horizontal when fully reclined (with multiple reclining positions in between)
I start off sleeping in it with it being just barely reclined.
I do recline it more as the night time passes, but very seldom end up with it fully reclined.

The seat also slides forward when reclining, so the arm rests are always in the right position for my arms.

My next recliner https://thehomedweller.com/best-recliners-for-sleeping/ will be a hospital type adjustable bed where you can raise or lower the head and raise or lower the feet separately. Being able to have an adjustment (upside down U under the knees) is also a requirement. This takes a lot of pressure off of your back. I now accomplish this in my recliner with a very dense foam leg wedge that I place on the extended leg support of the recliner. When I am fully reclined, my raised knees are almost at a 90 degree angle from my body and are at a 90 degree angle from the bottom half of my legs & feet.I like to watch YouTube videos of a similar theme when I'm looking for information about the right product. I hope this helps someone in the future. Good luck!

Looks like no one knows who makes those AMC seats.

So many off-topic seat recommendations itt
