Default Poltergeist - Security Tag Removal?

Anyone have any ideas/tips to remove the darn black security strip that is stuck to the back of the paper "back" ? My mind tells me to try and heat it up. My mind also tells me to cut it so the sticky part stays but the black part comes off.

Drives me insane since it does not sit flat.

Thanks!

All I can say is you have to figure it out for yourself. Just do whatever it takes to get it off.

I completely removed the paper from the "book" and threw it away.

One more reason to despise the digi-book. Just buy the region free UK editions and no worries. They come in very attractive keepcases.

Oh come on! Its stuck to the paper insert that most people throwaway.

I may be wrong, but I swear every time digibooks come up you're there to trash them and encourage folk to spend more money on imported copies with ugly ratings logos and dull keepcases.

Mine removed itself when I placed it over an Indian burial ground.

It's paper. It is also the same paper that has the POP labels on the back as well. You know, when they do buy this title and this title, get $10 back by mail. Send in POP label. That and the fact that it has all the info on it.

I tried going slow but its stuck on there. Not going to get it off unless it's torn or I heat it up.

If you really want it off, I would try using a hairdryer to heat the plastic, see if that loosens the glue. Go careful and good luck!
