The Parallax View (1974)

War of the Worlds (1952)

Uhm, no. Warner had a distribution deal with Paramount a few years back, but that ended long ago.

Haven't heard anything from the Popeye panel, but at The Jetsons panel nothing H-B was announced just reiterated that strong sales of Jonny Quest and The Jetsons will drive additional releases.

Ordered Bad Day at Black Rock, Brewster McCloud, Billy Budd, Body Snatchers, The Hanging Tree, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Time After Time.

Almost also got Twice Upon a Time and The Phantom Tollbooth, but I'm holding out for Blu-rays of those. Still puzzled to why the former didn't get a Blu release.

I watched The Thing From Another World last night, looks absolutely beautiful. It's almost hard to believe how clean and bright it is compared to the other various transfers I've seen in the past. Would e been nice to have some extras but for $11 it's a steal either way.
