Finally found room for all our Blu-rays by displaying them on the wall leading into our cinema room.

They're all organised alphabetically - however, split into seperate sections.

The best part of the first cabinet is more recent films I haven't watched (suitable for a Friday night or a weekend).
Then up to the second half of the second cabinet are older films I haven't watched (suitable for a weekday / nght)
Then onto the Disney stuff and the classics.
Box sets run along the top, in no particular order...

Still haven't found room for all the DVDs boxed up in the garage... many are double-ups, however.

Davlee, that's looks great! I like how you used the deep shelves to kind of "double up" with other collectibles!
Are those shelves the Billy line from Ikea?

That's a very impressive collection. The contents and Cabinets are superb. My collection is one tall shelving unit and my TV cabinet. I haven't anything as impressive as that to store my films.

Thanks very much! Yeah, they're perfect - Plenty more little figures to put in, but I'll get to that soon.

I actually think it's the Besta line... I think they're pretty much the same, but there's minor differences.

Very impressive, but I'd have a hard time putting my LE sets on their back .

One question. Your Forever Marilyn looks much thicker than the one I have ... Is it packaged in keepcases or is it an international release? Thanks.

Somewhat. I need 45" long shelves so I will cut them down from 48" and use three stud beams for the supports.

Ohhh trust me, I didn't like having to do it either... It's more of a space thing than anything else... Need to try and sort something better out for them.

Yeah, the Marilyn sets are the Australian releases. They're practically just two multi-disc amaray cases in a slipcase. Found it more practical than the U.S. release otherwise I would have imported.

The first set has all the same 7 films as the U.S. release and all the same artwork + a little booklet.

The second set was released about 12 months later, has different artwork on the slip and excludes The Misfits as an independent distributor bought the rights to this one... It became an 8-movie set and in its place are Niagara and Bus Stop.

Besta? Really! I was almost going to ask that, but they didn't look that deep.
I have several Besta units(and Detolfs) for my statue collection.
If possible, whenever you get to it, could you give me the dimensions? Most importantly the depth? Thanks a bunch!
I will have to get back to Ikea soon! Thank you for the info!

I plan on building this whenever I finally get free time.

This holds 801 regular sized blu-rays.
If you utilize the open shelving on the short runs, you can fit around 950.

Sorry for the late reply here! Only just got the chance to look into it...
Actually, you were right first time up, these ARE Billy bookcases.
I have a few Besta bookcases in another room for my book collection, why I got a bit confused.

Dimensions for each one of these are 31.5x79.5x11 "

However, each one also has the extension piece on top of them, which is an additional 11" tall
