Barring one or two titles that tried it somewhere once, No 4k titles are region locked anywhere.

I thought they had the ability to restrict by region, but they chose not to.

Because the blu-ray is region locked not the 4K disc.

They can, apparently by putting a code in some boot up text file that is really for BD use, but it is against the 4K spec so really not supposed to.

I think only through geo-locking, there's no ABC, the discs that are are non-standard, but the BDA doesn't seem to be too concerned.

Vigilante Blu-ray is 25% off on Amazon so bought it. Was thinking about getting the 4K UHD (ebay) but it's just a bit too expensive. A title I've been meaning to pick up for a while.

Love Vigilante, any film which matches Robert Forster and Fred Williamson is magic on toast.

True UHD is region free, unfortunately some companies found a workaround.
Region locked UHDs
Thankfully its fairly rare, but there now has to be an asterisk against the previous straightforward "UHD is region free" statement.

As others have pointed out though, a UHD release may be within spec region free, but any bonus discs may be region locked (especially boutique labels).
For example, the Second Sight 'Dawn of the Dead' UHD, region free but disc 4 is a region B BD.

We seem to be having a dry spell with UHD multi-buys, hopefully we get some fresh deals coming up.

Zavvi have a 3 for £33 deal on some 4k discs, seems to be the usual titles you see in various offers but it may be of interest to someone.

This looks like their Cyber Monday deal from last November. They leave up the old 3 for X collections even once the deal has expired. None of the titles are actually on this deal when you click into them. A few are part of their current 2 for £30 on Disney 4K, which is live at the moment, but is a terrible deal when you consider they were selling those same titles 2 for £15 just a few months ago.

If you click the individual titles there's no little red box indicating they're in an offer. At the moment its HMV for multi-buys, but there's not much new in the selections.

I found two US Criterion at Amazon IT for reasonable prices:

The Girl Can't Help It - 18,96 EUR
https://www.amazon.it/dp/B09QS4ZTXS?...hk_typ_imgToDp

Walker - 22,98 EUR
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B09...PNWYJU7H&psc=1

Not the greatest deal, but if you want to import them anyway, you can save a few quid. I don't have options like Stackry so this is best as it gets for me. Ordered Girl Can't Help It and paired it with the UHD Steelbook of The Untouchables for 24 EUR ...
