Default Movies Missing from Movies Anywhere Collection

I have connected my iTunes, Amazon and Vudu accounts to Movies Anywhere, and I have noticed the following movies that haven't ported from Vudu to MA or other providers.

Babe: Pig in the City
Despicable Me 2
Homeward Bound, imported as Homeward Bound 2
Shrek 2
Men In Black 1 and 2
Hobbit #3
The Dark Knight

I only noticed these are missing because they are part of a series, so I may be missing others. Anyone else have this problem? I have unlinked and linked a few times.

Groundhog Day - The freebie version Google gave out a few years ago for Groundhog’s day. It was replaced in the Google Play store with a different version so this one doesn’t port over.

I didn't have any problems with Shrek 2 or The Dark Knight.

Same here.

I also didn't have any problem with:
Despicable Me 2
Men In Black 1 and 2
Hobbit #3

Though these did not port over for me, even though they are marked as MA in Vudu:
Lethal Weapon: The Director's Cut
Lethal Weapon 3: The Director's Cut
Superman: The Movie

No problems here with Despicable Me 2, Hobbit #3 (both theatrical & extended) or The Dark Knight going from Vudu to MA.

Only ones I can think of that I have are...
  • Any Given Sunday is marked MA at Vudu & GP, but not MA according to the MA site
  • Memphis Belle is marked MA at Vudu, but not MA according to the MA site

I read an article stating that Paramount and Lionsgate aren't on board with Movies Anywhere yet.

Lion King migrated into MA from DMA where I redeemed the code a few months ago. Problem is it came into MA as the Diamond Edition with no extras at all even though it has the Signature Collection art work. Hopefully they can sort that one out.

If you're having issues with Disney films not porting, you need to call Disney Movies Anywhere directly so they can dole out a new code. My roomie had to do that, and once I find time today, I'm calling about The Lion King.

I called MA this morning. I only had to wait 19 minutes to get to a representative. He told me that MA was aware of the porting issues for The Lion King. He put in a ticket to escalate the process up the tech chain. He told me he did not have a time table when this movie would be fixed, but to be patient and know that it would be resolved.

Since he said they are aware of the problem, I don't think I would waste my time letting them know if it is missing from your account right now.

Good to know and thanks for the update. I agree, as long as they’re aware of it not sure me calling about the same is going help.

Did they by chance say what’s up?

Did Lion King even had a code to redeem for a digital/iTunes HD copy? My BD set did not. Was considering buying via iTunes, but at $20 = ouch.

I emailed them and they resolved the Lion King issue. It is now in my MA account!! They told me I had to contact MA to get Mickey's Christmas Carol and Toy Story of Terror.

I called them when I got home from work and it was a quick 5 min fix. They issued a new code for The Lion King to redeem.

I’m still waiting to hear back about Blade Runner: The Final Cut.

You two were lucky. I e-mailed several times but got no help, only generic responses to link my accounts (all accounts have been linked and relinked with no resolution).

I finally called today and spoke with Jessie. She was of no help at all. She just told me that MA is aware of the situation, that DMA could do nothing to help with my two movies The Lion King and Mickey's Carol not transferring to MA.

When I pointed out that others are having similar problems and that when they called they were at least able to get The Lion King to transfer to MA, she denied that DMA was able to help anyone with this issue. I guess Jessie is calling mertz523, mertz's roommate and chienbofett liars

So much for Disney's supposedly stellar customer service.
