“This code cannot be redeemed from your country.” Error - Blu-ray Forum

Last two Google Play codes I have tried to redeem via google play come up with the error “This code cannot be redeemed from your country.” Both sellers said codes were from US releases and I am in the US. Anyone else have the same issue, or have any suggestions to resolve this?

Currently there are quite a few sellers with Google migration codes from CA or UK that may be able to be redeemed in US with a workaround.

Post the titles, maybe someone knows if there is even a US code available.

One was the Chernobyl code I got from you, but according to this thread (https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=316052) the US release was Vudu only. And the other was Marjorie Prime and that seller got back to me and said that it was actually a Canadian code and they had listed it incorrectly.

Chernobyl i was selling to you was from a canadian copy. I was able to split it.
Work in vudu usa ( canadian bluray) and work only in google play canada.

My copy of true detective season 3 (canadian bluray) split 3 way. Vudu usa, itunes usa or canada and lastly google play usa or canada.

Hbo is strange.
