I actually don't have a Kindle. I have the app for my tablet. But it's just as good and just as awesome. I have a few good books on it, like the whole Hunger Games and Divergent trilogies. I'll be getting a lot more books on it as time goes on. Hell I even got a few free public domain books they had like The Lost World and a few of the John Carter novels.

I got a kindle HDX from Amazon prime day! Very excited to get it. My question is, how are comics on it? I really want to pick up some digital graphic novels and wanted to know your guys' thoughts on it.

Last time when my Kindle died they sent me a new one because it was still under warranty so I'm hoping that happens again. I'm not sure if it would still be under warranty since the Kindle is less than a year old but I bought the original over a year ago, so I'll find out when I call support tonight.
Curious to know how this went. I've had my Kindle since 2010 and it's still going strong. I'd love a paperwhite but this makes me a little reluctant.

My Paperwhite (G2, I guess) is better than reading an actual book in every way possible.

I've even found out how to get Danish books on it now. Not that there's anything in Danish I really feel like reading, but it's nice to have the option. Still slogging through those Dune prequels...

Amazon just settled another antitrust lawsuit with some publishers. I received $7.32 in credit for Kindle or print books. Did anyone else get one?

It seems they have made it so all new kindles come with special offers. Not happy about this as I intended on getting a Voyage or Paperwhite eventually.

Guess I'll just keep my Fire HD forever.

I have an iPad with Kindle on it, but it's not that great. I can't get new deals and offers, and the thing is that I'd like to order from my kindle app, but I can't. How do I do it ? Do I have to get a Kindle Fire ?

A few hours left for today's Kindle Daily Deal. Some really good titles in this sale.

Default Amazon Credit - Lawsuit

A new lawsuit rolled out today, involving Apple. Check your Amazon account to see if you got a promotional credit. There are reports of people getting as much as $1800 USD.

Yup, my wife told me she got about $100 in credit yesterday.

I think she's going to use that credit on other items on Amazon instead books.

I got $23.28 through the settlement. Not bad considering I only buy 3-4 books a year on average.

Anyone still use a regular old Kindle Fire? I still have a regular old Kindle Fire ive been using for a few years now. Never had problems charging it back up yada yada but recently the past month or so the charger cord that or charging the Kindle Fire has been a pain in the butt where it would take forever to charge.

If the Kindle Fire goes out where the battery is dead where I have to charge it up, Do i insert the charger cord in the Kindle right away to let it slowly charge back up or what?

Also i heard it takes like 6 to 8 hours just for the old Kindle Fire to charge for a whole day or whatever? couple of years ago it never took that long for mine to charge back up but lately the whole Kindle Fire and the charging been a pain in the ass
