You can get half of the collection for just $7.99 at Amazon. They are probably the best from the collection too:

Also, Barnes & Noble has it for $29.99. I believe they export to the UK:

It went OOP ! Or is it just going to get rereleased as a normal case soon?

Well by OOP I mean the UCE is a finite number so they're not making more of those, and I believe the Digibook isn't being re-printed either so it's technically out of print. That's not to say it's scarce though, there should still be a decent amount out there in the retail market. I can see them coming out with a regular amaray case version later on. I know they did that with the Star Wars Clone Wars Season 1.

The thought crossed my head the other day: I'm surprised Warner didn't experiment with PiP commentaries. It really is the only way to see artwork, would've been a nice Bluray exclusive. Nothing wrong with the bonuses (as if we needed more) but it was just a thought

The sets have provided a numerous amount of bonus quality entertainment, the problem is maintaining the technical quality. I GUARANTEE you, that if WB had made the sole focus of V2 Disc 3 on Tex Avery and they marketed his cartoons as being newly restored in HD, you would have seen an increase in sales.

Default Got one... :)

I ordered one on 3rd Jan after seeing it on the deals page. It was listed as "usually ships within 2-3 weeks" so I thought I'd be waiting for a while (or potentially even be disappointed by an OOP oversight) but I got a shipping confirmation email yesterday (11th Jan) to say that it had been dispatched!

Also, I'm in New Zealand, the title is not available domestically but this release seems to be region free (have my bases covered with a multi-region player anyway but still great)... and it ended up costing me less than NZD$40 delivered.... This is a SERIOUS bargain by any standard!!

Having waited for YEARS to get a high-def version of these and having NEVER bought ANY of the previous DVD releases, I am now one VERY happy Looney Tunes fan... Cannot wait for it to arrive!!!

Quick question though... anyone know what the actual run-time of all the content on all 3 discs or even just the cartoon collection without the doco extras??

I received my "Limited and Numbered Edition" from amazon.ca today, and it is identical to the US release - same UPC, no bilingual artwork.

How long after you placed your order did they ship?

I just watched a few cartoons from the first disc and it is quite obvious, that the picture has been zoomed in, i. e. the top and the bottom of the picture has been cut off in many scenes. Further the titles of most cartoons have black bars on top and bottom of the picture, which could have been easily avoided. I do not know why it is so difficult to keep te exact aspect ratio without any tampering.
