Thanks for your detailed response! I don't suppose you'd be able to guess the episode where Daffy Duck is REALLY drunk and is trying to put a key in a keyhole but keeps missing but laughing up a storm while he does it. I found a couple - pest in the house and daffy slept here but can't quite get the exact one.

Like some other people, I already have the Golden Collection (1-6) but haven't watched it yet. For whatever reason I decide to buy volumes 1-3 of this set. I've read through most of this thread but just to make sure: does the Platinum set contain everything on the Golden set?

Amazon was sold out, but my local BB had a couple
On the shelf for 14.99. Digibook was/is a little banged up (you can tell this is back stock that was gathering dust). But I had lost this years ago. So it's nice to have it again, especially now that I have kids. |

I don't understand why these releases are treated with such limited care. Not even lossless soundtracks lol? A lot of questionable restoration?
And in 3 random volumes... I really wish they would just issue a nice boxset even if it were to be expensive. This stuff is too classic. Anybody wonder at the chances for a UHD Boxset? Not even sure how it would look in 4K, but you would obviously not be getting blurays with that. So the chances of Warner ever issuing even lossless soundtracks is sadly low. What a damn shame. Not sure what the harm would be in doing more of these sets. Amazon is currently on back order for the first set. I have no idea why Warner does not feel printing more is useful. And then the whole debacle with T&J is ludicrous. They just decide not to print the set because people complained. So that's it lol? Just **** it not worth the time. This company is clueless. |

There really isn't much point to higher resolution in these. The blu-rays look and sound fantastic, and more resolution would just sharpen up the grain. In live action, that might add detail, but animation is mostly large flat areas of color. No point.
