My only tiny complaint is the discs appear to be in sleeves like somebody else said. I know BD's don't scratch as easy but still..

We all have our preferences. I'd rather watch the awesomely cheesetastic Part 8 than any of them.

Probably cause everyone loses control over Steelbooks etc. They seem to be a huge selling point sometimes more so than the actual film. I say give me the film and the original opening logo with uncompressed audio and at the least decent cover artwork and not a photoshop 2 second job.

When it comes to her birthday she takes the whole week through the weekend...I've given up trying to understand them.

The week after will have to be for me or have a marathon with Halloween right around the corner...a busy month October will be.

I really hope 3 isn't the same anaglyph eyesore from the previous disc.

I'm guessing it will be the exact same disc, otherwise they'd be promoting the fact that it's in real 3-D this time. The anaglyph of this film was horrendously done, misaligned in the mastering so it doesn't even accomplish the limited effect that anaglyph can offer - plus, the title itself of the film wasn't even attempted to be mastered in 3-D even though it was supposed to be as it comes out towards the audience. Probably the worst 3-D disc mastering ever.

I agree mate. Being a complete set with all the movies is fantastic. It's the set to end all set's when it comes to F13th.

I've been waiting for this for years now. This is my 2nd favourite horror franchise and I'm very happy with everything I've read about the set.

It really saddens me that there's plenty of people complaining and whinging about this set and certain movies included in it. Come on guys, we've been waiting years for something like this and its finally happening. Be happy about this, its fantastic.

That will be the main selling point for me if I am to upgrade. If it's just the same anaglyphic disc that was released previously, then I will pass on this set.

Double-feature discs in this case.

I am excited about this however I just don't like the "11 hours of previously released material" and there's no mention of any "new" features which is disappointing.

I'm also slightly disappointed that it doesn't look like there will be a Blu-Ray 3D release of part 3.

Other than that, I'm definitely buying this, this is my favorite horror franchise! I'm actually excited to see Jason X in HD! I'm very surprised they are including Freddy vs. Jason and the remake. Sadly, I'll have to own the remake, which is a movie I just plain hate with a passion! But, it's a small price to pay for the entire series!

3D
I'm betting its the same disc, because if they weren't using the original 3 discs from the previous blu releases, they would have just paired them all off instead of having 4 very odd singles. Then 3 doubles, then two more singles.

All of the single disc are not double features because Warner can save money just throwing in those same discs into this box set, and just put different art on them.

[Show spoiler]Anyone planning on getting rid of their single copy of Freddy Vs Jason pm me for a trade.
I have a more than the ones listed.

This is one ugly cover art. If i was the designer for the cover i wouldn´t have illustrated it with a picture of jason from one specific movie. I would have used something that goes for all the movies like a campfire with the machete sticking through a backpack and blood dripping out of it on the foreground with crystal lake and the cabins in the background in all of its beauty at moonlight. Also i am not so happy with it being Jason Goes To Hell of all of them, which is kinda typical for it being a WB release, but anyway at least its not as bad as the deluxe editions with the wrong chevrons and a background with bad photoshopped fire. Its just not sticking out, its too dark and dull and boring. Example, the remaster of The Terminator had one great cover art, they nailed it there.
