I had back in August. Took me 3 months to get back to normal including haviing an O2 machine in my home for that time period. Was in the hospital for a week

Got covid too. Twice. The lung problem from the 1st attack never fully healed.

Sorry to hear that, hope you guys fully recover. Makes one wonder if CV-19 will be like the flu and be with us forever.

The VA doctors recommend that seniors, such as myself, get the flu shot in addition to the covid boosters. I told him I was not a senior, I am a person of vintage.

I think it will be here a long time. It’s been pretty devastating for us as a family due to my sisters situation.

It’s just so unpredictable.

Sapiendut, that’s rough that it’s left you with that problem. Hope things gradually get better. (Same with you, Lee)

I have not gotten it and am vaccinated - all 4 shots. *Knocks on wood*

I was given a turkey for Thanksgiving and am making a turkey pozole. I'm mixing in pork, beef, and some beef bones to break and liven up the overall flavor. If it were just turkey, it'd be overkill. Also adding hominy. Had it last year and it was phenomenal. Looking forward to it tonight.

In the meantime I started on Wednesday season 1 on Netflix. It's in 4K DV / Atmos and it's a lot of fun and surprisingly violent. Definitely not for kids.

Might watch Malcolm X 4K disc later on, but we'll see.

Just sagged a TV series that I was a always a fan of. "Two Guys, A Girl, and Pizza Place" from the late 90's starring Ryan Reynolds before he became a star.

It's always been $30+ for years since its release but today it's down to $20, so have to snag it now. It's only SD, but it's the only way to catch it all in one package. It's from Shout Factory and it's on 11 discs:

this is like golf you should try and get the smallest number possible. You need to take better care of yourself.

In some people we can clearly see that there is a lot more happening under the skin then just: you get sick and then get better. That is what disturbs me the most about it

there was a time when we could have stopped it, unfortunately IMHO that time is long gone.

It is everywhere (can't say isolate one place where it exists), our bodies are very bad at building immunity against it (e.g. why Steed has caught it 3 times in under 3 years) and it easily jumps species (so even if we manage to eradicate it in humans it will just jump back after a bit from all the animals we have contaminated)


I think we need to learn to live with it. But in an intelligent way where we don't restrict ourselves much but still keep each others safer.

Fully vaxed and I have not gotten it either (as far as I know) but all the extended family and many friends have caught it and some more than once.

But I still avoid big crowds and I always wear a mask when in public areas.

I received an email from a new company making 4K disc players called Magnetar.







I don't know anything about them as this is the first time that I have heard of them, but another company making 4K disc players is welcome news. It uses the Media Tek MT8581 chipset. It supports SACD, too.
