Good to know since I think a lot of people want to go this route. Not everyone wants all the movies & many of us want to see how they come out before blind-buying on Day 1.

As for the Un-altered originals - I dont think they'll ever come out on disc officially. Ive moved on. Its not the end of the world, IMO. I can enjoy what "cuts" are available despite some of the obvious issues with them. Im much more concerned with Disney effing up the UHD releases. God I hope they dont.

It makes sense for Johnson to not wanna devote the time and effort into making three movies if the fanbase really did hate him and Last Jedi. Clearly that isn't the case, and if anything, the vitriol against Rise of Skywalker simply proves that people are invested in these characters, they just hated to see their stories end like this. I can buy that more than the title "Offspring of the Jedi" lol (especially since it's been reported that his trilogy would be a totally separate thing with new characters, right?).

The musical sounds moronic but that doesn't mean they're not considering it. Moronic ideas get put into production at a depressing rate lol

Most of that really is just speculation any 'fan' could've come up with and the rest is him taking the piss because he knows people will lap it up. And I love that the literal opposite has happened to what he said with the Cassian and Obi-Wan serieses, that it's now Obi-Wan that has stalled and Cassian is on track to start shooting this year. Again, lol

Based on that image of the set, can we expect the extras from the blu-ray boxset (ep. 1-6) and the previous dvd editions..?

I'm not interested in a musical, but I've often wondered how a staged production of those Shakespearean SW adaptations could work....

I know it is BS but if Jedi Rocks taught the world anything it is that Star Wars and musical numbers don't go together.

All we know is that each film will have a bonus disc, the contents are anyone's guess but given their previous trend most don't think it will include content from the DVD and Blu-ray releases.

I’ve watched the 4K versions on Disney+ and the color correction and higher resolution has them looking better than any official release yet. I hate the special edition changes, but I’ll probably purchase just the Original Trilogy again if they look like the Disney+ versions.

I have the prequels on blu-ray, and that’s good enough for those, and I already own Solo and The Last Jedi in 4K. so I just need to purchase The Rise of Skywalker in 4K and possibly upgrade The Force Awakens and Rogue One from blu-ray to 4K.

I can imagine any special features huge enough for me to buy this boxed set.

In contrast, if they were to release the unaltered Original Trilogy, I can’t imagine a pride I wouldn’t pay.

So put me down for just the Originals right now.

Thank you Harmy for everything you’ve done!

You'll have to look online for the Harmy Despecialized Editions or the 4k77 and 4k83 projects.

Most people won't even know what Star Wars is by the time they release an official original trilogy set.

I have the most recent Harmy editions on disc. They are my go to versions.

But I’ll still probably get the Original Trilogy in 4K. I’m fine with the prequels in 1080p and I’ll upgrade Rogue One and The Force Awakens later. The most important development in these movies is the corrected colors of the Originals.

They’d have to try really hard to create a boxed set too high priced for me to purchase if it contained the unaltered Originals.

Until then, Harmy it is.

Still curious about an official announcement of the special features though.
