But isn't October 18 a little too soon for Dunkirk considering it comes out July 21?

Begins and Dark Knight are two my most anticipated movies on the new format. I will pay whatever it takes to have them. I'd even pay a little more to not have Rises.

From a very well informed source (who gets releasedates) [EDIT: source happens to be forummember Quint van der Vaart, so all kudos should go to him ] on the Dutch forum boards, oktober is going be a big month.
Together with Dunkirk several other Nolan movies are getting the 4k release: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Inception and Interstellar.

Seperate threads for the Batman movies and Inception and Interstellar seem logical.
Don't ever use this dude as a source. He's constantly wrong and just pulls info from other sites where people just guess.

Give me a 4K version of TDK that looks like the non-IMAX version and I'll be happy.

If they want to include the expanding IMAX scenes, make them look like the prologue did on the BB Blu-ray.

I want full frame IMAX scenes in the films. The way they look on the bonus BD.

BUT if not in the film, add them in 4K on a bonus disc, at least.

Isn't there a moderator to come along and delete threads such as this? There shouldn't be a post in the section until there is an official source.

Nolan films such as this trilogy, Interstellar, and Inception could look amazing in UHD if the right people are involved.

Very nice if true. Hopefully Batman 66, 89, and Returns are on the horizon as well.

That's what I'm saying. I don't come to this section of the forum to go through pages of "maybes." This and the Disney thread should be closed.

Nobody is forcing you to read these pages right ?

I do however agree that these topics should be moved to the international section because this is international release info.

I don't think the Disney thread should be closed, since the Disney thread is just collecting all the news on the Disney UHDs we know are coming; GOTG2 is definitely coming to UHD.

Who knows how real this is but I'll say right now if WB release all the Nolan movies and Harry Potter on UHD around the same time at $30 each then I'm getting divorced.

Maybe go for a separation with $30 UHD BD purchase provisions.
