What are we looking at here?

Oh well.
There's no 3D? I'm pretty certain I saw a 3D showing a few minutes ago on Fandango when I was looking to see if Bombshell started. I could be wrong though.

Saying "it's more of the same" is like questioning a good pizza. More of the same isn't a bad thing. I enjoyed it a lot.

As good as Sony's releases are, I wish they made good movies.

Going through their recent releases over the last couple years, they've released nothing but trash like these Jumanji films, Venom, and other junk (Spiderverse was at least dope).

But damn are they in the dumpster right now as far as their current slates go.

Ehhh it was fun but nothing special. Almost too similar to the last one. Hope they try to change up the formula for the next one. (If there is a next one.)

I like the Steel art a lot. Definitely blind-buying it, I have no doubt it’ll be a stunner in UHD. Looking forward to those snowy mountain scenes in particular.

Aren't they already changing up the formula by having different characters play the avatars?

Sure. But, other than that the movie hits the same exact beats the last one did.

Looks like the next one will have the game coming into the regular world, as teased by the mid-credits scene

There was a mid-credit scene???
Reddit's official thread says "N" to an after credit scene (and they count anything after the credits start as after).

I left as soon as the got back to the real world, I think at the diner.

Saw it in Dolby because of A-List. It was ok, not great, not bad.

But I could leer at Karen Gillan's belly button for an hour The worst part of the move is when the Jonas brother said, "I brought some heavy clothes for the cold weather!"

[Show spoiler]Yes, it had Spencer's mother leading a plumber down the basement and then game activates, it then cuts to Spencer & Co. leaving the restaurant and an ostrich runs down the street.
