A very good Santa origin movie that came out in November and has been rumored that it could land an Oscar nomination for the film's innovative 2D and anti-hate message. I, too, will be buying Beauty when it comes out.
I've been meaning to check that film out. I had no idea that the same guy who worked on Tarzan and Hunchback also worked on Klaus. Tarzan and Hunchback happen to be two of my favorite Disney films so that's certainly heightened my interest! Thanks for letting me know!

Either that runtime is incorrect or its for the special edition version of the movie. The original version was around 84 minutes.

Hopefully it has both like every other previous disc release of this movie but I don't know how this sort of thing works on 4K discs.

I just noticed the aspect ratio. Is that true as well?

I really hope the extended special edition is included as an option on the 4K disc. Unlike the added Morning Report song in The Lion King, the Human Again song in BATB felt like it enhanced the story giving the enhanced objects a chance to express how they look forward to being back to their human-selves when the spell is broken.

Be Our Guest already did that IMO. Human Again is just padding. I don't have a problem with the song in and out of itself, it's a good song, but I really don't like all the changes they made around that song.

Considering Aladdin and The Little Mermaid didn't receive new cover art for their 4Ks, and that the recent string of entries had some of the laziest cover art ever, I'm not surprised they are reusing the old one. I would have appreciated the distinction like TLK got since BatB had a gap in releases, too. It also looks like they took the Anniversary Edition sublabel off, even though they could cheat a year ahead for the 30th (like they did for Cinderella). Lol

Just excited to get this and have more news on The Signature Collection. Can't wait for the exclusives. Hopefully Target will be able to do something better than TLK 4K art cards.

That's the Diamond Edition cover. Not the original. I hate it more than the Signature Collection one cause everyone is off model to the point it looks like one of those Disney knock offs.

No, that's not the diamond edition cover. It's a little close, but it's not the same.

Merchandising and derivations often differ from the primary work. Terms like “off model” are meant for pointing out and keeping consistency within that primary work, the film.

You should check again cause it's exactly the same even if the cover itself has borders (I'm not that pedantic). Point being that's what they used for the release of the film back in 2010. The original is what was used in 1991 - either the theatrical poster or the first VHS.

No, it is not. I checked before I even made the post. I'm looking at it now even and it's not exactly the same. There are some similarities, but it's not an exact copy.

Not the same. Look at the us 4K cover and you will see that it's not the same as the diamond edition.
