I don't have a PC Mode on my TV. I have the Scene Select mode set to Graphics mode and the Dynamic Range set to Unlimited for the HDMI input my PC is connecting to on the TV. I think that this is the closest I can to a PC mode on this TV without having a PC mode. Gaming is a priority in this PC so I think that these are the best settings for gaming for this TV and I don't want to change those settings.

Also I should not have to set my PC's display's refresh rate to 24Hz manually as this feature in Leawo Blu-ray Player is suppose to switch the refresh rate automatically if the movie is encoded with that frame rate.
Some programs ether don't automatically switch frame rates, or lock up when trying to do so. Leawo player is quite buggy at times so I wouldn't expect it to switch modes when you want it, not to mention predicting if it'll lock up or not play certain discs properly.

Sometimes it's best to set a preset within your GC control panel for whenever you want to watch or view something in a different frame rate mode or aspect ratio.

Graphics mode is one of the worst modes to watch movies and playing games. It’s main function is for presentations. Graphics mode tends to have black crush and makes the picture quality duller and have a grey tint to it.

Your reply has nothing to do with the issue I'm having with Leawo Blu-ray Player and is off topic and I don't want to stray off topic. I don't have those issues in Graphics mode that you mentioned.

For some unknown reason, my Leawo Blu-ray Player 2.2.0.1 version kept repeatedly crashing to the point that I've had to revert back to the 1.8.1.8 version from 2015! This crashing had just become more of of a severe issue recently.

The problem I have with this, is the much older Leawo Blu-ray Player version doesn't have snapshot capability, which is VERY important to me! Of course, so is actual disc playback!

Any thoughts on what might have been causing the increased frequency of these crashes on the latest Leawo version? It got to the point that even keeping all of my browsers closed wasn't helping anymore!

CHEERS!

EDIT: I've since tried going back to a previous 2.1.0.0 version, but it gives me the same crashing issue. So far, only the 1.8.1.8 version from 2015 (Which unfortunately lacks a snapshot feature!) doesn't crash when I use it.

EDIT #2: Leawo Blu-ray player version 1.9.6.1, which is the first to feature Snapshot, seems to work fine on my PC Laptop (Even with my browsers up!), thankfully!

Going with the older Leawo Blu-ray player version 1.9.6.1 hasn't been without its downside. Among the issues I have run into: Blu-ray Disc Menus don't come up, so I have to rely on the Title option, which is a Trial and Error process in getting to the one that is desired. Getting the desired audio option to work is often a massive pain in the ass, and oftentimes I end up having to shut down and reload Leawo to get it to work properly. If while Leawo is open, I try to play on my other software media platforms, particularly on Microsoft's "Films & TV," I'll get a dialog message indicating the video cannot be played due to the audio function already being used from a different application.

CHEERS!

I have noticed that menus turn up for few titles but don't for others. I haven't been able to figure out the root cause for this yet, but some of the newer movies do not display their menus in Leawo anymore.

Anyone here using Leawo change the video and/or audio settings for a more accurate visual or audio? I have the settings on default, but I'm wondering if I should change anything. Also, my PC monitor can only display 50, 59, or 60 Hz.

Thank you.

Just playing around/testing with some older versions of the free Leawoo blu ray player because if you ask me those older versions produce a better image on my screen versus the latest 3.0 (or is it placebo effect? don't think so) Anyway all versions do more or less the same from 2.0 on (can always go higher again if i run into issues) so at the moment i.m trying out edition 2.1.0.0. (skipping the java)i wil also try that 1.9.6.1 from post 28 above

edit: version 1961 is no good and 2100 seems the lowest version number that has a different feel to the image that i sort of like and can still playback the blu ray title that i'm playing with at the moment Anyway for me it's just an extra playback software to have on board the pc You might prefer or need a higher version number of Leawoo

Also it's interesting that the leawoo program file size over the years goes up from 50mb to double 100+ ? Makes you wonder what exactly is in that extra 50mb (from 50 to 75mb you would more or less aspect but double size

I got a question about Leawo Blu Ray player: When it's installed, does it change file associations so that only Leawo plays audio and video files?

Not permanently Choose that during the installer menu's ,or it will pop up just after the instal as a final choice there is a page (like with many mediaplayer installers) where you can choose and select to associate with all or none files or select only the ones you want it to
i always choose none so nothing changes
and do in windows the standard open file with ... on a file
But in general you can always change that in windows anyway by going to the -properties - of a random file on your pc (right mouse click lets say on a mp3 file or any other type choose properties and change the part: open with and change/select your own fav playback program for that file type
Windows will change it for all mp3 So if you choose in leawoo none in the menu and want to use leawoo to auto playback only for a certain file type do the file type property thing and set leawoo as the choice only for that file type
(you can change that choice in file properties unlimited times)

And i personally ignore the leawoo popups of java and updates just click those away
version 2100
