The series 6 dvd is showing a release of June 28th on Amazon so pretty safe to assume that's when the blu ray and complete series so far will be released.

To reflect U.K. broadcast these need to be 1080 50i to get the right speed. No idea if RLJ do that or slow down to 1080 24p using a streaming and US master.

Series 6 is on the BBC shortly (that's me guessing) so the boxset should appear when, or close to when the last episode airs.

There has to be a ending where "H" is finally revealed or this could go on longer than NCIS for crying out loud.

For Broadchurch and The Fall they used 1080/50i, so fingers crossed.

Another reason to swap out the German LoD releases, they're 1080p.

Series 6 will air in March according to the BBC, Jed Mercurio has said their will be at least a 7th series.

Yeah they’re 1080p. They also have German text whenever there’s on-screen writing, ie at the end of each season finale when they do an epilogue.

I'm not so sure this is happening. The DVD editions of Series 6 have a release date of 28 June 2021. However, the Blu-ray listings have the placeholder release date of 31 December 2021. My guess is that the listings were generated in error, given that Acorn UK rarely releases Blu-rays and usually needs provocation to do so (e.g. Chernobyl).

The clips in question are right at the end and explain what certain outcomes are. They aren’t accompanied by narration, so unless you can read German you’re losing that info.

There may be other bits of text that pop up on-screen throughout the series as well.

I thought this was coming from RLJ not Acorn, that's what Amazon says.

Are they the same company or different.

RLJ Entertainment is the parent company for Acorn UK, but Acorn UK might have been dissolved and renamed for RLJ. Acorn Media International is said by RLJ to: "Explore our diverse range of TV and Feature Film releases, available of DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD", yet that site only seems to list the programs themselves and not any links or online store to purchase them. It's very confusing, because their UK website "acorndvd.com" seems to be offline and only the American website "acornonline.com" is operational right now, even though RLJ Entertainment still links to the former.

Previously to whatever happened, Acorn UK and Acorn US were two separate divisions of Acorn Media Group (which itself was part of RLJ) and made their own separate releases, although I believe the only title both arms have released on Blu-ray is The Fall.

I assume that what remains of Acorn UK is still handling new and upcoming releases, now simply under the name "RLJ Entertainment", but I could be wrong.
