Ya I heard about the whole BD-R thing too. Really hope Axis Rising on blu is a real factory pressing. If it isn't or it rots I'll never buy another Full Moon product again (which I hope I don't have to do, I respect Full Moon and enjoy the Puppet Master franchise).

I have Puppet Master and Subspecies and know thay cant be DVD-R's since they have special features included, I got both from GOHastings

how can u tell if its a dvd-r or not?

from my experience those are purple color on the playing side, and I meant BD-R, prettyb sure special feature menus cant be done on BD-Rs

I placed my order Oct 13th and Just got it today and I am in Florida so it took me a little over 2 weeks.

But it probably shipped last monday because that is when 2 and 3 were released.

A BD-r is purple-ish in colour, right?
+ BD - R dont have special faetures as well

Mine still aren't here from the UK

Hope I don't have to have them reshipped, then it's another week and a half. Hopefully it's just the post hurricane slowing things up. Hopefully they aren't buried in water somewhere.

And as for the BD-r thing...........always go 88 films guys, always. Charles Band is a really shady character.

Why wouldn't it? A BD-R is just a container with binary data. You can put as many extras on a BD-R you want.

My Amz.uk PM1 order to Canada shipped on Oct 13th. The estimated delivery date was Oct 24th (it always shows up before that) But mine didn't show up till Oct 31st this time. So a lot longer than it usually takes.

Also, the PM1 BD from 88 Films is wonderful. I've already ordered PM 2 & 3 and can't wait to get them. I'm very happy FM partnered with 88 films. I usually don't care about covers, but I really appreciate being able to flip the slipcover and use the original poster art. I hope Castle Freak is of equal quality. And judging from the HD trailer for it on the PM BD, it should be.

The UK did a great job on these. The covers look nice and you get a booklet and the transfer is pretty good. So far I have only watched part 1. I will have to go through the other 2 but so glad I got them from the UK.

Also, assuming that a Full Moon product does rot, there isn't any action one could take to get another copy is there? With Full Moon ignoring the complaints it seems like the only way to get that situation resolved would be to take some sort of drastic legal action which is probably a lot more effort then it's worth.

I told you guys, I checked with my Full Moon discs, and PM I-III, and Axis Of Evil are factory pressed discs. Axis Rising might be a BD-R but seeing the official release was Oct 23rd, odds are the editions from that date are factory pressed.
