Is there anything more eye-catching than an awesome comic book cover? Every once in a while I'll just look thru my boxes and gaze at covers.

This is a thread not just for me, but for everyone to post their favorites. Lets see!

Artist Frank Quitely is one of my favorites, his work on DC's All-Star Superman title was simply brilliant. The above two are EASILY my favorites of the run.

Here are a few more Superman-related covers. lol I'm not a mega-fan, just looking thru a short-box of comics related to the character.

Action Comics volume 1, #591

John Byrne was pretty much synonymous with Supes in the late 80's. I picked this issue up when it originally came out and thought it was so bad-ass. Still do today.

The funny thing is that I'm not a dog person...but when someone does Krypto right, like Alex Ross does here, he just seems so majestic and relevant rather than a silly dog with powers.

Another John Byrne cover...Supergirl upskirt? lol C'mon man, this is a cool cover considering the perspective it puts the reader in.

Some GREAT Batman covers...Killing Joke is incredible from cover to cover; literally...that playing card on the back cover is awesome.

The GL is one for all-time too...have you seen the newer version of it they did when Hal had one of each ring?

I got Whilce to sketch me the head off that Iron Man...lol he told me how much he hated the design because of how detailed he'd made it.
