This just seems so random. It was really interesting, but would anyone actually buy this?

It is a interesting documentary. For the right price I would be willing to purchase it. I'm not paying more then 15 GBP though if that.

Because nothing says we're not in this for a cashgrab like a steelbook.

Such a biased, crap film.

Seaworld has been telling their side of the story for decades. A documentary comes out to speak against it, an it's biased? They asked Seaworld for an interview but they declined. It tells a story, raises awareness, all that good stuff.

This should be getting cleared out a few months. I'll set a Camel alert to 8 GBP lol. Why is this DVD?

Hmm I just noticed that as well. I guess if it turns out to be a DVD then we will move it. I'm hoping that the listing is wrong and it turns out to be a DVD after all.

Confirmed definitely as a DVD steelbook by Dogwoof

"Hi Nick

This was a fault on Amazon's behalf, the steelbook is in fact a DVD.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

What a bummer! Well I still might get this if it receives a nice drop in price. I've been picking up a few dvd steelbooks lately, on the cheap(Spawn animated, Watchmen Tales of BF and Escape From New York German). I can always find the BD cheap and put that disc in the dvd steelbook.
Of course once I do all that, a proper BD steelbook will get announced. So I'll be taking one for the team!

It's a great documentary but is it worthy of a Steelbook? Think not.

I was sure that I'd cancelled this once they said it was going to be a DVD, as I own it on Blu-ray and didn't really want to spend £15 on a DVD copy. I do have a large collection of DVD steelbooks, but I don't bother buying them if they're released now, unless I can get them cheap. Turns out I hadn't and it shipped from Amazon

I knew that I'd be able to return it as my order still showed it as a Blu-ray, so I could say that it didn't match the description. The listing had changed, but not on my order, so I was OK

I went through the returns process expecting to have to print a label off. Instead I had to contact them by e-mail. They came back to me, apologised, refunded my £15, and let me keep the item. So, not only do I now have the item to add to my collection, but I also spent nothing on it

Like Nas: Time Is Illmatic, which I'd also ordered, but is dual format, this isn't a steelbook. It's a metalpak like the recent Fox releases. Like the two Dreamworks releases, these have printed backs, and printed ratings on the front, back and side, and what looks like a yellow sticker on the front of the Nas one, is also printed on. They are also both G1 size, and feel a little flimsy. Due to the printed back, there is no J Card

To be fair, it doesn't really bother me for these ones. This one I got free, and the other one I wanted anyway

I didn't even now that it wasn't a Blu-ray SteelBook anymore, no information from Amazon in regards to that.

I got it a couple of days ago and was quite disappointed, both because it was a DVD and the combination of flimsy MetalPak and no protection had caused it to be slightly damaged.

I contacted Amazon about it and mentioned the three problems: DVD instead of Blu-ray, MetalPak instead of SteelBook and that it was damaged (in that order), their solution? they created a replacement order

I cancelled the replacement order and then contacted them to let them know a replacement order will only (hopefully) fix the problem of a damaged item and NOT the MetalPak and DVD problem.

Looking forward to hearing from them again to hear what they will do now

I find with Amazon, you can send the same e-mail about three similar problems and get three different answers. The metalpaks Fox released recently - Hot Tub Time Machine, The Usual Suspects and Thelma & Louise all were pre-orders, but my orders for these took a month to arrive after release date, during which time the prices had dropped, so clearly the release dates on the items were wrong

The prices had dropped but my orders were showing the old amounts. As they were classed as already being out, the pre-order price guarantee didn't apply. I contacted them to ask about refunding the differences, and a different person replied to each query and there were three different answers. I got the differences refunded, some more reluctantly than others. If I'd known, I would've cancelled the orders and re-ordered them before they shipped, but why should I keep having to check Amazon for what is their error. So the fact you are having a problem with them, doesn't surprise me
