Total BS. Google joined MA, and should be considered one of the big boys now. Why would redeems on their site be less than on VUDU, iTunes or Amazon? It does not make sense, and is quite frankly, a slap to Googles face. It implies that they are not as relevant.

EDIT: I did a chat with a Google rep, and they told me that they do have Game of Thrones S5-6 available in HD. Why it redeemed in SD is another matter, and that must be what HBO gives with the code. If I want to resolve this, I need to contact HBO. WTH

But apparently it's not just HBO codes. It's Fox and Disney as well. (At least I think I saw those being reported)

I went back and checked on my Roku and everything is HD with the exception of the Entourage Complete Series which is in SD.

This problem started in around July. Anything redeemed before then was redeemed in the correct quality. Since then, everything has redeemed in SD only. And you can try to contact Google Play but they won't be any help. Supposedly they're working to fix the problem and should have it fixed soon. We'll see.

So partially fixed going forward redeems working correctly today HD Blu-ray codes redeeming as HD, DVD Codes redeeming as SD.
Though they seemed to have also broken a part of Disney vaulted code redeems and so far nothing officially mentioned about the fix from GOOGLE and no word or action taken to fix all the codes that redeemed incorrectly as SD from July going forward.

I redeemed Game of Thrones Season 7 in HD just fine yesterday.

My only GP problem at his point is being stuck with Entourage complete series in HD which was from a Blu-ray set.

Please post if anyone has any success getting these incorrectly redeemed titles changed into their proper HD resolution.
