Will two (2) iTunes accounts merge via MA?

Hello All,

I was wondering, if (for example) I have one iTunes US and one iTunes UK,
will those two be merged together if I will have an Movies Anywhere (MA)
account and link them there. I meant, will I have all the movies available
afterwards in either of the iTunes accounts?

iTunes accounts directly no... however flixster uk account to vudu, then porting to MA you can. So theres one way of getting movies owned in the UK over. Sadly there no Movies Anywhere account link for uk accounts and even so there's no way of connecting more than one account type to Movies Anywhere as far as I'm aware.

Well, I do indeed have also an Flixster and an UV account, but I have different movies there than I have in iTunes UK.
Or somehow is there a way to have the iTunes movies also in UV/Flixster?

OK, so until now I understand this (and I thank everyone for their contribution):

- not possible to link UK accounts to MA directly, no matter they are iTunes, Flixster, etc.

- not possible to link two (2) accounts from same provider, no matter they are iTunes, Vudu, Fandango, WB, SPE, Flixster, etc.

But now the question is this:
- if I have UltraViolet (UV) Account linked with several European Providers (and see in UV all the movies),
will I be able to see all those movies in MA and after linking MA with iTunes (US), in iTunes too?

If you make a foreign iTunes account to gift your main iTunes account that might be able to get it connected that way

You can’t gift accounts or existing movies in your library. You can only gift new purchases.

Not all movies but many of them. Titles from big studios like Warner or Sony will port, even in UHD, if the same studio in the US has the rights. To get UHD, vudu must have the film in UHD. Titles porting from UV to vudu will also port to MA and iTunes, if they are MA.

Sure, by now I could see several movies ported, and also, sadly, several others not (although I believe are from same or big studios too, and they are in MA, but forgot that UV is delivering ONLY via Vudu (which in my humble opinion SUCKS BIG TIME).

Still, is good that you all give your input here and help others to gather their movies together.

So now, the newer and BIGGER question will be:
as UV will get close soon (end of July if I recall correctly), what should one do to ensure ALL his UV movies get ported to MA?

Also, I have one more personal and exact one:
- why I could see a movie purchased on iTunes in MA but not two others purchased few days (2-5) before? I did disconnected and reconnected iTunes from MA but still nothing? It is because the two where purchased as a "pack"? I do not think so, cause other "packs" purchased on iTunes before went just OK in MA.

Anyone?!?!

Would be helpful if you name the titles that did not port (not to Vudu in case of foreign codes and not to MA in case of your itunes purchases). In case of MA: Movies bought in a pack in itunes, will port if MA but only in HD, not 4k

The pack of the two movies that I purchased on iTunes but did not ported to MA has the first two John Wick movies.

And, for what matters, actually, I've purchased on iTunes in the past another pack, with Predators, and all those three (3) movies where carried/ported on MA as 4K UHD! (I can make some screen-shots to prove this, if necessary)

Also, about other movies that ported from UV via Vudu, many of them are not from US, and most of them actually ended up in Vudu and then in MA, but not all; and that's why I ask, maybe there's something I can do so that all of them come to MA/iTunes (of course if those are supported by MA, cause I know there are several studios and movies that aren't supported).

If there's any other information that I should provide, please just let me know.

Keep in mind not all movies/ studios are MA.
John Wick is from Lionsgate which does not participate in MA.
Always check on Vudu or search for the Movie on MA to check MA eligibility.

Sorry, but the John Wick movies have never been on MA.

I've got John wick 1 and 2 on UV. Neither have ported.

If you're in the UK and have a Google play or Microsoft account. Both of these will link to MA. However. Both accounts only receive the movies. They will not port anything to MA.

However. I've had a UK copy of captain underpants port somehow

That is the same with a German google play account, only recieving titles from MA, not porting. Lionsgate titles from UK did never port to Vudu. Same problem with films, that have different distributors in Europe and the United States like Blade Runner 2049 or Interstellar.

It's odd. As I would have thought that 2049 would have ported. But it never did.

With flixster closing I'm hoping that it will finally port to Google
