Phone says No SIM card

Phone keeps on saying I have no SIM card, Which I most certainly do.
I've had this phone for a few years and have never even touched the SIM card inside.
Any suggestions, my phone is a Samsung Galaxy.

I can't find the tool that came with my phone to open up the slot.

Try the following steps,
1. Reboot your phone. Press and hold the Power button and Volume Up button for at least 10 seconds.
2. Check the SIM card.
3. Clean SIM slot.
4. Try another SIM card (if you have one).
5. Turn on the Airplane Mode. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the [Control Center] and tap [Airplane Mode]. Wait for at least 30 seconds and tap [Airplane Mode] again to turn it off.
Or
Reset your phone to factory settings. Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Back Up and Reset] > [Reset to Factory Settings] and tap [Reset System Settings Only].
