X90K's only marginally better in rtings SDR and HDR Peak Brightness. Mixed Usage favors X90J at $300 less (65").

Considering it's a Sony, Pre Calibration/Out-of-the-box is abysmal for X90K.

X900H I thought was pretty good outta box.

Though I am leaning towards a Samsung QN90B over a X95K atm. Maybe a few years from now Mini will be better.

Very good news! Sony has started rolling out a new firmware update which, among other things, enables local dimming in VRR mode on the Z9K, X95K, X90K, Z9J, X95J and X90J.

I have the 75" X90K and 75X95K set-up in our showroom.

What would you like to know about the X90K and what screen size are you considering?
