Exclamation Google Play not accepting movie codes, claiming expired codes

https://support.google.com/googlepla...43579556?hl=en
Anyone following this thread? I just got a movie code issued from Warner Bros and when I went to claim in Google Play, Google said it had expired.

Sure the code in the slip was "expired" on 5/12/2016 but Warner Bros accepted the redeeming code and issued me code for the movie on Google Play. Some how Google Play isn't accepting. Google seems to have "locked" the discussion down and doesn't care if the publisher continues to honor their redeeming code. If anyone else knows any new information please share.

This happened to me recently with The Matrix 4K, which is also WB. Slip said it expired 12/31/2019, but I assumed it would probably still work. At first it accepted the code, only to let me down when I got to Google Play.

Even if the code doesn't mention MoviesAnywhere try it there, if it doesn't work they'll indicate where it does work and if it does work it'll carry over to Google Play.

I raised this a little while ago on an older thread. So they've still not fixed it then?

Not exactly where to ask this specific question --

anyone else try a Disney code at redeemdigitalmovie via Google Play today.

Normally it just goes straight to Google -- today I keep getting a error message with Doctor Strange/Multiverse 4K code. I tried with an older BD code and an 4K code that hadn't been redeemed yet and those went to Google like normal so it seems to be something specific with Doctor Strange 2

"Sorry, we're experiencing some technical difficulties.

Some people posted in the Giveaways section last week that they couldn't split newer Disney codes like Strange 2 & Bob's Burgers & use them in GP.
