Have the 12 Mini and i hate it. The horrible battery life basically makes the phone unusable. Going to upgrade to the 14 Pro and not buy another phone for like 4 years.

I'll order the iPhone 14 Pro Max as a secondary phone, although I am happy with the pics of the iPhone 11, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is my daily driver.

I have to test the pictures from the iPhone 14 and check if they removed the heavy processing that I disliked from the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I hope that it takes more natural pics like the iPhone 11.

From some of the videos I have seen, it looks like the iPhone 14 pics look more natural. Hopefully.

Verizon is offering me a 14 for $100 if I trade in, but I just got the 13. Sounds like the Pro Max will be $300.

The 14 is such a subtle upgrade/update over the 13-Basically an "S" line/series.

The iPhone 11 is a much simpler phone; you can get now for less than $400.
My brother has one; it takes decent shots but not up to the level of the 13 Pro Max.
For videos the 13 Pro Max is the number one best in the world.

True, Samsung doesn't support Dolby Vision, and it shows too in the overall score for its videos ...

The battery of the 14 Pro and Pro Max is the best in the world; because it is well optimized.
That phone will be supported till 2028, with iOS 21 (we're @ iOS 16 now).

Methinks the 14 Pro and Pro Max are the best phones for people in the world when we're talking cameras with picture quality and audio too.

Personally the Lightning port I hate with a deep passion.
And it's true what other reviewers have reported regarding over sharpening the photos.
What he mentioned about the power button slightly changed from the 13 Pro Max and the cover case; that's truly Apple's way of business and hypocrisy. Kudos to him for mentioning.
And last his comment on the battery regarding the Always On Display (AOD); best to disable it indeed. As for what rocks your dynamic island ... that's a personal thing; but his points are on target.

Have fun and look for a deal on the 13 Pro Max; I'd say.
If money grows in your garden then it's not a concern...wait for a USB port (3.2).
What Apple is thinking? We know ...
But if like me you're a photo aficionado and you download lots of hires photos and videos you hate that Lightning port, very.

I'll be receiving it tomorrow and I hope that the crushed shadows are eased on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Based on the Youtube videos I have been seeing, it looks like they improved that on the the 14 Pro Max. I would like to see an improvement of the more natural look of the iPhone 11 pics.

If you have the 14 Pro Max, have you seen that kind of improvement?

At least I'll have the video recording again with Dolby Vision. This combo should help me skip the GS23 Ultra and get the GS24 Ultra, or what it may be called. It will be a few years to see significant improvements.

I was eagerly awaiting iPad OS 16 to take advantage of the new features with the M1 SoC. The new iPhone update was a nice addition too, although I've only had the iPhone 14 Pro Max for 3 days and I will need to see guides on the new features, especially since it isn't my main phone.

I'll say this out the gate, the main issue I had with the iPhone 13 Pro Max picture processing and the way it would crush black levels and the shadows, they aren't here for me in the 14 Pro Max. I'm very happy to see that improve and I enjoy taking pictures with the phone and not seeing that issue there.

Unlike with the 13 Pro Max, which I had to go back to the basic iPhone 11, the 14 pro Max feels like an upgrade from the iPhone 11 camera and it just feels like different choices in processing were made. But nothing that I dislike about the 14 Pro Max pics. I did have a lot of issue with the processing of the 13 Pro Max pics.

Great phone and the cut out instead of the notch looks a lot better. Great screen and slightly improved speakers I would say. Now I'm and Android (Galaxy) user first, but the iPhone 14 Pro Max is a great second phone to have as a tech fan to take pics and having the best phone video recording cam. I gladly gave away the iPhone 11 to a relative.

Very happy with the choices made on the iPhone 14 Pro Max!

I don't have an iPhone 14 Pro Max; way too expensive here in Canada. If I was rich shure.
The monthly payments in Canada (plan) are out of this world; only rich people can afford.
With the price of gaz and food and utility bills and 4K Blu-rays I try my best to prioritize values, essentials, survival, health with my budget.

If I win the lottery I'd buy the iPhone 14 Pro Max tomorrow morning after breakfast.

Add 12% tax on top of that ... (purple 512GB would be my choice, or 1TB)

That is very expensive for a phone (1TB = $2,500 Cdn, with tax).
With that money you can buy a very nice mirrorless camera with a one-inch sensor.
