Default LG creating Micro LED Displays

https://hdtvtest.co.uk/n/LGs-first-1...is-coming-soon

As always, the first batch seem to be aimed squarely at the commercial market however the company actively exploring it alongside Samsung & Sony is big news for the future with the display tech possibly being the best of OLED & LCD tech once they manage to figure out mass production for typical screen sizes without making those modular seams visible.

Didnt Samsung try to make a OLED tv way before LG? I know Sony did make a tiny OLED before LG made a TV. Samsung's inorganic QLED never reached the consumer market either.

Yes, but it wasn't the patented WOLED display tech that LG bought from Kodak. Samsung was never able to produced 60+ inch displays for mass production.

LG did not just buy the patent and immediately release a mass market consumer Kodak OLED panel.

When will they start making MircoLEDs that are 65 inches? Large TV's are nice, but unless these TV's have a folding mechanism, I do not know if I can fit a 163-inch TV in my house.

These would look killer in the movie theaters though.
