It's getting an airing on Talking Pictures TV later tonight (as part of The Cellar Club), which was a reminder for me to bring it up as one of the films I hope we get a decent Blu-ray release of this year (ideally, a new restoration and master in the original aspect ratio, with some good, varied extras (including a documentary or mini-documentary about the production). Am talking about The Demon (1979), whose cast included Cameron Mitchell. Was having a look at the reviews of some slasher horrors on Hysteria-Lives again yesterday, including The Demon.

This wishlist title suggestion is in addition to the short slasher horrors wish list I included in a post earlier in this thread.

Have got the WAC Blu-ray release of On Moonlight Bay on the list of Blu-ray film titles released by the WAC that I want to get at some point. I noticed that By the Light of the Silvery Moon hasn't had a Blu-ray release (I know it was brought up in the WAC Blu-ray thread by a fellow poster late last year, and I liked the sound of the film).

One of Doris Day's other films that on and off I've been thinking of getting (either the KL or German Blu-ray release) is Midnight Lace.

Have got the Fabulous Films UK DVD release of Street Hawk, and have watched the majority of it (love the cinematography (especially the night-time-shot scenes) and the music score. Also helped that it had Jeannie Wilson from Simon & Simon among the cast.

If it's the case about what (may have) happened to the film elements of Street Hawk (what I read in a post reply to me in the Knight Rider thread in the Germany sub-forum this week was the first I'd read that the film elements of some episodes of The Equalizer have been lost as well, some episodes only having video masters). On my re-watch of The Equalizer on DVD (the UK sets) I didn't notice any episodes with video masters (I did notice though that some may have had framing and zoomed-in issues). I'm wondering if that's what happened as well to some short-lived seventies and eighties series (Amy Prentiss, Sarge and Whiz Kids for example), film elements having been lost.

Only basing this on it's IMDb company credits page, which states one of the TV series The Highwayman's distributors was 20th Century Fox Television (the production company was "New West Productions" ("as New West Entertainment"), but is The Highwayman (the cast including Sam Jones) now with Disney? Have never seen it, but from what I've read I would have liked it (about a high-tech lorry/truck?).
