You can select "Full HD 3D" as a feature/function at Projector Central for a list a available 3D projectors.

You can also go to the sub-forum in the 3D forum for recommendations...

3D Players, Hardware and Technology

You can also try the second hand market... such as Facebook Marketplace for a Flat Screen TV.

I think all future 3D releases should include an anaglyph version, as such increases the interest in 3D and makes some people want a display device to see the films in proper polarized/digital form.

Thanks so much to 3D Film Archive for getting this trend going. It may take years, but I think having the anaglyph option builds interest in 3D.

Agreed. Some excellent deals on used 3D capable TVs can be found on the secondhand market. Just picked up a 75” Sony 4K set for $300 for my girl. Saw a 65” LG OLED for sale locally for $700. Keep checking Craigslist in your area if you’re in the States.

I asnwered him in the correct thread and put a link sorting the best rating(not by price) projectors for him to choose if it's what he wants.

Moving forward, I anticipate that all future releases will include this viewing option. The drop of support from display manufacturers circa 2016 was a definite obstacle.

Somewhat ironic in that we worked for decades to dispel the “all vintage 3-D movies were anaglyphic” myth! Thank you, Roger Ebert.

http://www.3dfilmarchive.com/home/top-10-3-d-myths

That said, with the new multi-band encoding technique developed by Greg Kintz, these new anaglyphic conversions are FAR superior to any process seen before.

Also, THE MASK (1961) is available in anaglyph format.

The fact that I'll have this by June makes me super excited. I'm assuming MOMA is where it will be shown in NY. I'll be watching this film several times this year, including showing it to a few friends who have never seen it.

I may even watch it once in anaglyphic 3D for nostalgia sake. It's been a while since I sat down to watch a movie in anaglyphic 3-D.

So glad you rescued that unique cult classic, and magically transformed it from anaglyph to polarized even!

I owned an all-cult video store that carried the Rhino "3-D" VHS tapes of ROBOT MONSTER and CAT WOMEN OF THE MOON. The 3-D was quite poor, almost non-existent. CAT WOMEN was the worst of the two of them; in fact, the end of the CAT WOMEN's tape transfer actually had the film jumping up and down, as though the sprocket holes had given out. I was shocked that Rhino Video would even release such a poor-quality product. They must have not even watched the transfer before striking the first run of tapes.

I don't think that Elvira was included on Rhino's first home video release of those two 3-D video cassettes. Elvira must have been added for a later promotion.

Those weren’t part of the Midnight Madness line. THE MASK was. I didn’t have CAT WOMEN but I did have that awful tape of ROBOT MONSTER. Yikes.

I just received an email from Kickstarter to "fill out the survey" regarding shipping info.
I didn't see any specific mention of "add-on" options on this survey but I assume (or at least hope) that I'll still be receiving the Lenticular 3-D cover with my Blu-ray. (It's still listed under my original pledge info.)
Also: I sure hope these will be shipped in a box or something sturdy to help avoid being damaged

Same here. I ordered mine with the lenticular cover and the Image3D RetroViewer and neither were shown on my survey. I would assume that it just doesn't display the add-ons beside the survey. Very excited to see this moving forward!

Your cards were charged for the various add-ons when the campaign ended. Those items will be safely shipped with your Blu-ray or DVD.

Cool to see Robot Monster 3D is nearing the finish line thanks to 3-D Film Archive. A lot of work but I bet the 3D restoration will be great as expected from their team.

Sorry to hear if your 3DTV isn't working. Thankfully the analglyph 3D red/cyan glasses will likely also be included with an Anaglyph 3D film version in addition to the active/passive stereo 3D version and 2D version, if I'm not mistaken with each new 3-D Film Archives release.

There are some reliable 3D (and 2D) movie projectors out there to consider also if you have a good collection of blu ray 3Ds.

Here's a sneak preview of the wonderful new artwork created for our official 70th anniversary ROBOT MONSTER 3-D Blu-ray release by the brilliant artist, Stewart McKissick.

Look for the full reveal - with both the artwork and our distributor announcement - very soon!
