Default My Bloody Valentine (1981)

Good news! On Monday, February 13th Regal Cinemas will be showing the fan favorite slasher My Bloody Valentine! It will be the R rated cut. I guess the recent showing of Friday the 13th went well so they decided to screen this movie. I'm looking forward to it!

This is one I didn't see in the theater so I'll be going.

This shoulda been released on UHD in '21, for it's 40th anniversary.

Don't forget to check your Regal theater and see if this is playing near you. It's only showing today. Really looking forward to seeing it in the theater.

Saw this today at the first of two showings at Regal. About 10-12 people there. I was worried because the showtime was 6:00 and there was no pre-show or trailers playing. At 6:10 I was about to go out and tell an employee about it but I saw someone leave the auditorium so I figured he would do the honors. At around 6:20 the movie started right away with the Paramount logo with no pre-show, ads or trailers. The theatre lights didn't go out until after the opening credits. Anyway, the presentation was good. Nice clear print with minimal damage and the sound was at an appropriate volume. And it was indeed the R rated cut as expected.

I hope Regal continues with the holiday themed horror movie showings. The original April Fool's Day would be nice to see!

I enjoyed catching this at Regal last night. It's one of my favorite slashers, and one I had never seen on the big screen before so it was a nice treat. My showing did not have any pre-show content either (not even a Regal policy trailer) but started right at 7 pm as listed.

There were maybe a handful of people that showed up late, probably expecting to miss trailers and such, which sucks for them.

Too bad they didn't show it today...would've made more sense. Is it because it's discount day at Regal that they chose yesterday?

I saw this with about 8 other people in the theater. Even though it was the theatrical cut I really enjoyed seeing it again. They played the original Friday the 13th last month so I'm hoping to see more "classic" films get rereleases.

It could have been, although the ticket cost less than what a movie usually costs for the evening showing ($8.53).

Rewatched this last night (on blu ray), still one of the best slashers ever, absolutely fantastic.
