Default Red Steel 2

Anyone else played this yet? It has pretty nice graphics and amazing controls. Your weapons are guns and a sword. I love playing with the sword (which has many different moves and you can use different amounts of power/it measures your strength of your swing) and immediately shoot my gun. Only a few hours in and I honestly love it. This is a really fun game.
You have to use Wii Motion Plus to play this game. I think it has 15 hours of single player gameplay.
Highly recommended if you own a Nintendo Wii.

I could see this being really good with time put into it.

The first one was really rushed (especially the dozen or so ninja swordfights with identical ninjas at the end).

Also, this could be amazing with Wii Motion Plus...

Red Steel 2 is the best sword fighting samurai ninja style game that I have played on the Wii with a cool visual style and excellent action and weapon modifications. The hype was about the actual control. The score was more of a result of sometimes desolate level design and balancing issues. Otherwise the quality of this game is good. The more I played and the more it attacks. It keeps getting better IMO. Experience of playing it was nice.

Just picked this up, and it is great so far. What i've noticed most though is that this could pass for an xbox 360/ps3 game in terms of visuals. It looks amazing (with component cables of course).

i got this in a sale a couple of months back. It's a great game allright. Not quite up there with Madworld which is still my favourite game ever, but certainly a lot of fun.

I still have to play madworld. It's realluy cheap now as well, so i really should pick it up soon. I so wish Red Steel 2 had online competitive multiplayer.

i'd love a Madworld2, but apparently the first one didn't do brilliantly

Here in the UK one of our gutter press newspapers tried to stir up a hate campaign against it, which didn't help it. http://www.cultmovieforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=14549

Ubisoft was quick on the draw to produce a game that incorporated both point-and-click first-person shooter mechanics with swordplay that utilized the motion sensing capabilities of the Wii remote. A turn of events near the end of the game that's meant to stoke the fires of your rage falls completely flat, and the final battle along with the subsequent ending are almost shockingly underwhelming.
