Default House of the Dead series (& other gun games)

Anyone have House of the Dead 2 & 3 or House of the Dead Overkill for the Wii? If so, do you use the standard motion controller, classic controller, or one of the guns.

I'd like to buy the Perfect Shot gun from Nyko, but want to get a game like HotD that works well with it. I was planning on buying the gun and Resident Evil 4, but it looks like the Perfect Shot does not work well with it.

I have them but only use the standard controller. Seems to work fine.

Which HotD do you like the most, the 2 & 3, or Overkill?

HOTD 2 & 3 is basically a Dreamcast port and I didn't find it too enjoyable when I rented it. Overkill on the other hand is awesome, but I like "on rails" shooters.

Its over the top with the "Grindhouse" feel and it works, TONS of F-Bombs, in fact , probably 10 or so in the intro, but then again if you're buying a game built around killing zombies, language is probably not a concern

I have the Nyko "perfect shot" handgun and it works fine, but it works good with just the Wiimote too.

Actually, House of the Dead: Overkill is my only Wii Game I own, other than my sister's games (wii fit & Sports).

Still is a very fun, and cheesy buddy cop game, spoofing exploitation films (In Grindhouse spirit), and especially fun when shooting the Dead on the big screen.

I tend to like rain shooters quite a bit.... always fun :-D I currently own RE:UC, RESC, & HOTD2&3. I still need to pick up HOTDOK sometime... Out of the 3 I currently own, I would say I enjoy HOTD quite a bit... very cheesy & hilarious lines & quite fun. Out of RE, I would pick RESC... for me it seems a bit more entertaimening than UC.... both still good :-D

House of the Dead Overkill is an awesome game. The Grindhouse theme (with similar style soundtrack) and hilarious script really make the game.
