How come this went from "official custom cover art thread" to just "cover art thread". "Official" sounds way better.

Does anyone know where I can get custom covers for Band of Brothers on Blu? Possibly ones that would fit into standard size Blu-ray cases that have double discs? So disc 1 and 2 could be in the first case. 3 and 4 in the second case. 5 and 6 in the third case? I have some customs like this, but they are made for the fat two disc Blu-ray cases and thus don't fit in the standards. I can't find any thick two disc Blu-ray cases or I'd just use those. I've been hoping forever that someone would make something like this. I can't stand the tin that Band of Brothers is in. So inconvenient.

Thanks!
I agree. I printed this out and the purple on black is too dark. I don't know if someone here created this cover or not though.

I would be forever in your debt. I don't even care if it's fancy. Just something clean and neat that I can put them in so I don't have to open that damn tin and unfold the 30 foot plastic sheet of discs to have crap falling out all over the place.

I Knew Something Changed About The Title I Couldn't Figure It Out I Kept Going That Just Doesn't Look Right But Alas The Official Is Gone I Thought I Was Going Crazy For A Minute

Default Willy Wonka Digibook Scan Conversion

I have a quickly thrown together scan conversion for Willy Wonka. I used the spine text with red text on a white-ish background from the HD-DVD (blasphemy I know but it was the easiest solution to the Purple on Black rubbish they gave us). I threw the scanned back page from the digibook on the back (english only text from my US release unlike the one posted earlier), but I didn't take time to properly crop and adjust it to make it fit. I can upload the cover I have and also a hi res scan of the back page if someone would like to properly make it fit. I only half-arsed and printed it to check if I liked the new spine text and never went back to finish it. I am not claiming any rights to it since it is not really custom at all just a conversion, if anyone wants to finish it and reupload a nicely finished up version feel free to it.

inaka over at avs posted this in the custom covers thread. A search in the thread should find it. It's a nice custom cover with a cross over photo and text along the spine for all three cases.

I too would like to know why someone removed "Official" from the thread title. I did not do it, which means a moderator removed it from the title

I can edit the title on the first post and have done so to re-add "Official" to the title of the post. However, that does not change the listing name in the forum. So I would really like to know why the thread title was changed and who did it? I guess the why is a tad more important than the who.

Download Willy Wonka Cover

As you can see when you compare it to the one posted about 10 posts back I just flat out cut some stuff off the bottom to make it fit rather than stretching/squishing the back page. It is probably missing some of the icons that people require for it to be official, but it works fine for me. PM me if you would like the link to the hi res back cover scan to try to fix my cover up for me. I am not an artist so don't bother making suggestions to me.

Anyone made a Mad Men Season 1 cover to match Season 2?

I hate those silver bands at the top and bottom of the early Lionsgate releases. Not to mention the horrible silver spine.

Hated the movie so I wouldn't attempt this, but thought it'd be an interesting alternative as a cover for someone who wants to try... this is hi-res as I've found it, though...

You know as many artists that post on here with all their work. They really need to make a COVER forum just for you guys. Instead of sticking you all in one thread. That way you could have one thread listing all the titles with links and have it locked. Then each artist could have his own thread (that could maybe be locked too). Then us peon's could post about covers and beg for them and talk about the lint in our belly buttons etc.

Would anyone mind working on a cover for Casablanca?
I have the box-set, but I would like to use a regular blu-case instead.
Thanks in advance, I've seem some incredible work posted here.

These might do the trick.
