Retail-worthy?
Quit being humble-- Your work looks absolutely amazing! The only thing keeping it from "retail-worthy", or rather the thing that will most likely be added is "3D" in the title.

On topic, I just made a thread in the NA forum, because I just found out it's expected release is 1/22/2013.

Very nice! That's runnerdialzero's cover, with your own as the inner, right?

How'd you print the inner? Double sided one sheet, or two sheets? I print all of mine on Canon Photo Glossy Paper Plus II, but it's only glossy on one side, and when I print with UndercoverXP, even if they're in the BD preset, they never match perfect, so it's like the only option I have is to do 2 and cut them even, and have a little thicker. Any suggestions? Looks great!

Yep, you're right. I'll be making my own cover eventually, though.

And I just flipped the paper over and put it back into the printer haha. I just printed it on regular paper for now, until I actually order another Criterion case and can really transfer it over, then I'll print it on nicer paper and probably do the same thing.

Thanks by the way I used to be against stuff like this, i.e. splitting up discs, different artwork, etc., but I feel some of them definitely need it, or in this case, deserve it.

Also, that Dredd artwork is fantastic! I haven't seen the movie yet, but I would gladly blind buy it just for that artwork, no lie!

Welcome to your new addiction.

You're right, some of these movies are way too good to have the crappy artwork that they are bestowed with. That's what we are here for.

Those are awesome!!!

I've been looking for Indy covers. I've found a couple of options and they aren't bad, but none of them have been quite what I am looking for. These are perfect! I will likely only be using the four individual movie covers.

I actually have a plan that will work out nicely (I even have some 3-disc cases on the way for this).

I still have the Indiana Jones widescreen Trilogy box set from when they were originally released on DVD back in 2003 (if I recall the year correctly). It had the 3 movies plus an extra bonus disc. Also I got mine at Best Buy and they had an exclusive additional bonus disc with an old original featurette on Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I also have the 2-disc Blu-Ray of Crystal Skull from its original release in 2008.

So, what this means is that between these DVDs and Blu-Rays, I have 2 copies of each movie and 4 bonus features discs of some form or another. I'm basically going to make these into combo packs (even though in the case of the fourth film it will be two copies of the movie on Blu-Ray), and put a bonus disc with each one. Raiders will get that Best Buy exclusive Raiders disc since it's specific to that movie. Temple of Doom will have the bonus disc from the 2003 DVD box set. Last Crusade will get the bonus disc from the new Blu-Ray set of all 4 movies, and Crystal Skull will of course get the bonus disc from the original 2008 Blu-Ray release of KOTCS since it's specific to that movie. I'll probably just make a simple insert to put in the clips of each of the cases with the info, specs, and contents of the additional discs.

Great site by the way. Registration at the site and subscription fee required to download covers there. Well worth the price of admission.

You're welcome. That site has a whole slew of customs for the Pirates films, both the individual films and as a set.

Some of the text is too close to the edges and it'd be better if the graphics were allowed some more room to breathe.

Default Criterion case dimensions

Ive really loved all the custom criterion covers made by runnersdialzero and others here, but I have a problem. I had planned on pritning in photoshop so I can set custom dimensions, but I cant find any dimensions for the cases. Does anyone know what the dimensions of a criterion blu ray case are in inches?

I don't know about inches but it's 3240 x 1894 in megapixels. I think megapixels. :/

So how do you usually print your own covers, runnersdialzero? Would photoshop work well enough?

Photoshop is probably overkill. When I'm done editing them, they are already the correct size. I then use my windows photo viewer to open the image and then click print. Make sure you print it in landscape. That's all I do. Then cut off the white edges.

Yeah, I thought the same about the text. I'll touch that up a bit.

Also, for those interested in the film, I'm thinking about using one of these artworks for the cover for Moonrise Kingdom. Thoughts on which I should use?

Where can I go to print this?

Love it, but I will ask. Is it possible to increase the size and drop Dredd down around his helmet. Might make it pop even more. Hope that's clear, as it is hard to describe over the internet without visual aids.
