Those look fantastic. I want the Transformers one. Is it possible to really make one that way? (New to cover art stuff) If not, can you print out the Transformer one to fit into the sleeve of a regular case? That would be awesome as well.

Star Wars needs to do a BD release already..what are they waiting for. And you need to do all the cover art. Although, i do have a couple ideas brewing for a sith based steelbook for Episode III

Im gonna try to come up with something.

Very very nice indeed, you should send some of your designs to Scanavo And ask them to pay you a commissions if they ever end up using some of your designs

Astonishing covers! Even if none of those movies is ever going to be released in SBs it's still a lot of fun to look at eye candies like that. You should definitely post some more of your work!

My GOD these are amazing. If these were for sale I would be homeless. Seriously that would be the nail in the coffin for my home and the girlfiend. Great work

Thank you everyone for the kind comments, nice to hear that you like the custom steelbook designs.

Only just realised that I have the Transformers title on the steelbook spine the wrong way round, so must fix that when I get time.

I don't have any more steelbook designes in the works at the moment, just waiting for some art work to inspire me, any suggestions?

I am working on some regulalr Blu-ray custom covers (inc Monsters Inc, Cars, Finding Nemo, T3 and Star Wars - A New Hope) and I will post them once they are completed, but thats several weeks away.

There has been lots of discussion in the Making your own Sticker SteelBook™ cases thread about making you own custom steelbook using stickers which is something I might try, just for personal interest to see how it comes out.

Does anyone have a close up shot of a sticker steelbook as I would be very interested to see if the sticker is just a flat sheet, of if wraps around the corners? Clearly the second style would look better, but might be more difficult to apply without the sticker wrinkling up at the corners.

James

Stickers on StickerBooks are plain rectangles and that are cut before the angles = fugly.

Then I read that this is a custom cover for steels. Hehe.
But that would be awesome if it was real.

I started to play with the Photoshop (I'm a total noob in this area) and thought that I'd make a custom Stickerbook cover for The Incredible Hulk. Here's what I've managed to do:

Picture size matches the Stickerbook labels, so if anyone would be interested in printing it, don't hesitate
Now I'm trying to make my own Spider-Man trilogy covers, but I guess it's still a long way for me... So far I have a landscape SM1, but it's mostly just cropped/resized posters, no anything special.

I don't think I will have time to learn Photoshop to the point I will be able to create everything I have in mind, so I guess if I'd have any ideas for custom covers I'll pass them to jamesaevans to create them (if he doesn't mind, of course)

Those are excellent, Michal!
I wonder what the Hulk one would look like without any text on it.
